Ferijentied (Holiday Time) = a wonderful time<br><br>Our lovingly and tastefully furnished, allergy-friendly holiday home is located in a quiet residential area right next to Greetsiel’s landmark, the Twin Windmills. From here, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the town centre with its idyllic harbour and its quaint houses and alleyways.<br><br>On the ground floor of the house is the spacious and light-filled living and dining area with an L-shaped sofa, TV, radio, CD, DVD, and Blu-ray players, a dining area, and a wood-burning stove. This area has been repeatedly renovated and furnished with new pieces in recent years, further reinforcing the home’s high-quality feel. From here, you can also step out onto the furnished terrace, which features a beach chair, an electric awning, and a lounge chair; the garden is fenced in. An electric grill and a charcoal grill are also available.<br><br>Also on the ground floor is the fully equipped kitchen, which includes, among other things, a dishwasher, microwave, oven, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, coffee pad machine, toaster, blender, egg cooker, electric kettle, waffle maker, contact grill, and cordless handheld vacuum, as well as one of the bathrooms with a window, shower (with built-in radio, replaced in November 2025), toilet, sink, heated towel rack, and hair dryer.<br><br>The upper floor of this allergy-friendly home features the two bedrooms, each equipped with two beds (one double bed measuring 1.80 m x 2.00 m with separate mattresses; one with two single beds, 0.90 m x 2.00 m), a closet, and a TV (side safety rails for children available). There is another bathroom here, which is also equipped with a shower (renovated in March 2026), toilet, sink, hair dryer, and window, so that each bedroom has its own bathroom.<br><br>The entire ground floor is tiled and equipped with radiant floor heating; the upper floor has vinyl flooring (tiles in the bathroom). All windows are equipped with roller shutters (mostly electric) and fly screens.<br><br>The utility room is equipped with a washing machine, dryer, clothes rack, ironing board, and iron for your use.<br><br>For our younger guests, a fold-out baby bed made of solid beech wood (including a foam mattress), as well as a high chair, stair gate, children’s tableware, a children’s stool, and a children’s toilet seat are available free of charge.<br><br>The Ferijentied house includes a garden shed (with electrical sockets, e.g., for e-bikes) for storing bicycles and a parking space in front of the house.<br><br>Rentals are only available without pets. Smoking is not permitted inside the house.<br><br>The house directly next door, “Friesendrööm,” is also available for rent through us.<br><br>The holiday home is located in Greetsiel, a picturesque coastal village on the East Frisian North Sea coast. Set in a quiet and idyllic setting, the historic town centre—with its romantic harbour, famous twin windmills, and cosy cafés and restaurants—is just a few minutes’ walk away. The dyke landscape surrounding Greetsiel offers numerous biking and hiking trails with stunning views of the Wadden Sea. Thanks to its proximity to the North Sea and the East Frisian Islands, the holiday home is the ideal starting point for relaxation and a variety of excursions.<br><br>You’re welcome to add a laundry package as an optional extra. This can be done during the booking process or at any time afterwards for a fee.
