About this property
Range View on the Rocks | Log Home | 360 Mtn Views
Summary:
Wake up on top of the world. This custom log cabin sits high on a private ridge—perfectly between Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park—with 360° panoramic views from every room. It's the ultimate basecamp: hike RMNP, watch elk graze, and shop downtown, all just minutes away—then return to total peace and quiet above it all. Soaring ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, and new wraparound redwood decks make this your relaxing mountain retreat in every season.
The Space:
Range View on the Rocks is an authentic custom log home built for soaking in the scenery. Soaring cathedral ceilings, walls of windows, and a wood-burning fireplace create a true lodge feel, while new redwood decks wrap the home with views of Rocky Mountain National Park, Longs Peak, and the Stanley Hotel. With 3 beds, 3 baths, and 3,300 sq ft—including a loft, rec room, and bonus room—there's space for the whole crew. Radiant heat, Nest thermostats, and a heated garage keep it cozy year-round.
What makes it special:
• 360° views—from every room
• Custom log construction with vaulted ceilings & natural woodwork
• Wood-burning fireplace for cool mountain evenings
• New redwood decks for morning coffee & sunset watching
• Nearly 2 acres atop the mountain
• Flexible living & sleeping spaces for the whole crew
Guest Access:
Guests enjoy the entire home and property—all yours for the stay. That includes every bedroom and living space, the full kitchen, the wraparound redwood decks, and the nearly two private acres of mountain surrounding the cabin. Park easily in the attached heated garage and driveway. Spread out, soak in the 360° views, and make yourself completely at home—there are no shared spaces and no one else on site.
Other Things to Note:
A couple of things to know before you book. The property has a steep driveway and sits up on a gravel mountain road. In summer almost any vehicle is fine, but in winter we recommend an SUV, a truck, or something with good tires and all wheel drive, since conditions can change quickly up here.
This is a peaceful spot, and our neighbors love it for the same reason you will. We just ask that you respect the quiet and enjoy the calm of the mountain along with them.
Interaction with Guests:
We're around whenever you need us, but we'll otherwise give you plenty of space to relax and enjoy the mountain. Check in is easy and self guided, so you can arrive on your own schedule. If anything comes up while you're here or you have a question about the house, we're just a quick text or call away. We want your stay to feel easy, peaceful, and completely your own.
