Wonderful location. Clean, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Large deck with plenty of seating. Fire pit area was very nice. Everyone enjoyed the stay and we all wish we could have stayed longer!
Lovely property tucked into the quiet countryside. Very comfortable and clean, was perfect for my family attending a wedding at the KC Bison Ranch and a welcome party at Big Ceeek Distillery.

The house is older w/ signs of 'age', it's a 20 good minutes from downtown Dahlonega. There are 3 floors (loft, main floor & basement). Our issue started in the middle of the 1st night when the main floor & basement got really warm. Saturday morning @ 11:00, I sent a photo to Justin as the thermostat was blank. He said he would contact maintenance & keep my posted. I heard nothing back from him. At 3:00pm the house was 76 degrees according to the thermostat (now 'on'). I sent another message to Justin because it was still warm with no fan running. He said to let him know if it did not cool off. At 6:00pm I sent another photo & was told that they 'may not address it until tomorrow as maintenance has left for the day". I called VRBO at midnight because the house reached 78 degrees & was told they would reach out to the host on my behalf. The next morning @ 9am I got a message from Justin that 'maintenance had come out and replaced the thermostat battery and found no issues with the a/c.' He said they 'will have it resolved for future guests'. I did my due diligence as a guest by contacting the host for help. Didn't matter, but the 'next guest' should be fine? I can overlook the loose electrical sockets, old bathroom fixtures & towels, broken chairs, broken shelf in the fridge, as well as the musty basement smell. What's hard to overlook is renting a cabin for the weekend in the mountains in August & being HOT because the a/c does not work. :(

TThank you, Kristin, for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re sorry that the air-conditioning issue affected your stay, particularly during a warm August weekend.
We understand how frustrating it must have been to experience uncomfortable temperatures even after reaching out for assistance, and we regret that the issue was not resolved as quickly as you had hoped. We have since resolved the issue.
We also appreciate you noting the other maintenance concerns. Our team has since conducted a thorough maintenance check and inspection of the broken and loose fittings. Your feedback was helpful in identifying areas that required attention.
