The apartment was tiny compared to the advertised photograph, which was obviously taken with a wide angle lens. It was also advertised as a Beach Front Property which it is not. The toilet bowl was dirty. Outside seating areas looked like they had never been cleaned. The outside furniture was old, dirty with two broken chairs. The oven thermostat was broken, rendering the oven useless, as there was no temperature control. There was no kettle, so water for tea and coffee had to be boiled in saucepan. A hair dryer was listed as along with the 'essentials', but it was NOT supplied, and when I asked the agents, they said it was not on the list, I went back to the listing and a hairdryer was most definitely there as one of the 'essentials'. Therefore I did not bring my own, which meant drying my hair after a shower became a problem. There were no clean pillowcases. There was something wrong with the washing machine which made a terrible noise when the drum was spinning, which leads me to believe that the bearings had gone. We had to wait until late the next day before we got an internet connection, which should have been available from the time we checked in. If I could list one thing which was good about this rental is that it was pet friendly, which was nice.
