This cabin provides a spacious and romantic stay for couples or a comfortable home base for the adventuring family. Walk to the beach, just a .4 mile down the road. Enjoy the wood fired sauna and cold plunge on our property after a day of hiking.

Your private cabin is part of Steamboat Wharf Cabins, a small cabin property near Sandy Point Beach. The cabin includes a queen sleeping loft, a queen pull-out sofa on the main level, a full bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, Wi-Fi, heating and air conditioning, and a private deck. Outdoor amenities, including the sauna and fire-pit areas, may be shared with other guests on the property.

**Loft Sleeping Area**
• The queen bed is in a loft accessed by a fixed ladder.
• The loft has a low ceiling, and most adults will not be able to stand fully upright.
• It may not be a good fit for guests with limited mobility, very young children, or anyone uncomfortable climbing a ladder.

**Water Use**
• Our property runs on a well system. Please enjoy reasonably short showers to help conserve fresh water for all guests.

**Kitchenette**
• This cabin does not have a full kitchen or stove.
• It includes a mini-fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker.

**Nature Setting**
• The cabins are in a forested area, and insects may occasionally enter despite regular pest control.
• Keeping doors and windows closed will help minimize this.

**Shared Property**
• Other guests may be staying in nearby cabins and may use shared outdoor areas.
• Sauna sessions are available by reservation.

**Pet Policy**
• Pets are not allowed in this cabin.

We are a family of four who loves to travel, spend time outdoors, and explore new places together. You will often find us hiking, camping in our van, trying new food, visiting local breweries, or checking out art galleries.

We created Steamboat Wharf Cabins to offer the kind of stays we enjoy ourselves: comfortable, simple places to relax, explore, and make memories. We are excited to share this special part of Midcoast Maine with our guests and hope you have a wonderful stay with us.

Why they chose this property

It is an easy place to slow down, enjoy the coast, and use as a home base for exploring nearby towns, restaurants, trails, beaches, and scenic drives. Belfast is close by for shopping, dining, and waterfront walks, while Camden, Castine, Blue Hill, and Acadia National Park make great day trips.

Guests love the relaxed, nature-forward feel here—coastal Maine without the crowds, but still close to plenty to see and do. After a day of exploring, come back to the cabins, enjoy the fire pit or Adirondack chairs, and unwind in the wood-fired sauna and cold plunge.

What makes this property unique

Steamboat Wharf Cabins is a peaceful collection of nine private cabins tucked into a quiet, wooded setting near Sandy Point Beach. Each cabin offers a comfortable place to relax after a day exploring Midcoast Maine, with the beach just a short walk down the road.

Guests book their own private cabin while enjoying the charm and natural setting of the larger property. Our cabins are thoughtfully designed for couples, solo travelers, small families, and friends looking for a cozy Maine getaway. Sleeping arrangements and layouts vary by cabin, so please review the photos and details for this specific listing.

Every cabin includes a private bathroom with shower, comfortable bedding, heating and air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a TV, mini-fridge, and coffee setup. The newer cabins offer additional space for small families or guests who would like room to spread out.

Outside, enjoy the wooded surroundings, Adirondack chairs, fire pits, and easy access to the coast. Guests may also reserve time in our wood-fired sauna and cold plunge—a great way to unwind after hiking, beach time, or exploring nearby towns.

Steamboat Wharf Cabins is close to local hiking, coastal scenery, restaurants, and all that the Midcoast has to offer. It is a relaxed, nature-forward place to slow down, recharge, and enjoy a memorable Maine stay.
