This property has been a loved rental for years with a 5* rating, and this is a new listing due to a new owner. Enjoy the heart of coastal Georgia in this lovely cottage on the Sapelo River. You will have a private dock for fishing, crabbing, and kayaking. (There is a nearby boat ramp for guests who bring a boat). The home sits atop a wonderful tall bluff for amazing views and pleasant breezes. Enjoy your coffee or a cocktail while watching the wildlife or a sunset on the river from the back porch. Property has been a loved rental for years but has a new owner.

Downstairs, you’ll love the open concept kitchen, dining and living area with amazing views of the dock, river and endless marshes. The master bedroom and attached master bath is also downstairs. Upstairs are two ample bedrooms with a shared Jack and Jill bath. Enjoy nature right from the back porch table.

The “River Hut” next door can be combined to create a Coastal Compound with 6 bedrooms, 5 baths, and 2 docks.

Guests also enjoy waterfront dining at the nearby Fish Dock Restaurant. Additional dining and entertainment can be found by land or sea at nearby towns of Darien and Shellman Bluff. 30-45 minutes away, explore Savannah, Brunswick, and St. Simons Island.

Load and start the dishwasher

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Please leave used linens on the floor in the bedroom/bathroom that they were used.

Take out all trash and put in the trash can by the street

Make sure anything at the dock area is left as you found it with kayaks or crab traps brought back to their storage areas and dock ladder out of the water.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

There aren’t many spots like this left. Tall bluff, 20’ of water at low tide, and the most lad back atmosphere and people around. Whether you like fishing, boating, nature watching or just a beautiful spot to enjoy St Simons, Darien, and Savannah, this is a wonderful spot.
