Coastal Retreat Near Golf & Deep Water in Shellman Bluff | Screened Porch

The Cottage on the Bluff is a recently constructed single-story home. As you enter via the circular drive, you'll find yourself in a beautifully decorated cottage equipped with every modern convenience for a peaceful getaway. The screened-in front porch features comfortable sofas where you can relax with a drink and enjoy distant views of the deep water. This stylish home is conveniently located near the waterfront and the Shellman Fish Camp boat launch.

Inside, you're greeted by spacious 12-foot ceilings throughout the great room, which offers plenty of cozy seating around a large smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen boasts granite countertops and opens into both the great room and the dining area. This rental does not accommodate pets.

The home features three bedrooms: a primary en suite with a king-sized bed, a spacious queen-sized room, and a third bedroom with double-size bunk beds. Perfect for up to 6 adults or with children, it can sleep up to 8. The latter two bedrooms share a bathroom with a double sink.

For added convenience, there's a private laundry room with a washer and dryer, perfect for returning from the beach or fishing trips. We also provide landline phone service. Please note that Verizon and AT&T are the two carriers that reception works well in the cottage. With T-mobile it’s spotty until you walk to the stop sign about 2 minutes from the cottage.

Just a two-minute walk away, you'll find Hunter’s Seafood Restaurant and other local attractions. This water-friendly location is ideal for boating and is close to Sapelo Hammock Golf Course and the Golden Isles beaches near Brunswick. It's also an easy drive to Savannah, Richmond Hill, and Fort Stewart. Feel free to bring your golf cart, kayak, boat, or other island toys to fully enjoy all the area has to offer.

• For everyone’s protection, we require a simple rental agreement and a fully refundable $250 security hold processed prior to arrival.
• A landline is provided as cell service is spotty. Verizon and AT&T work best.
• No pets are allowed.
• It is a quiet, residential area—perfect for relaxing stays!

Our whole family enjoyed this very cool cottage so much! It was so spacious and clean and suited our needs perfectly. Its proximity to the dock and Hunters Cafe were perfect. This is by far the most thought out and thoroughly stocked VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Great Labor Day Weekend at “The Bluff”

Adorable new 3/2 right in the heart of Shellman Bluff! Both bathrooms have double vanities, open family room/ kitchen great for visiting, cute front porch ,& comfortable beds! Close to several local restaurants & Sapelo Hammock Golf Course & a quick walk to beautiful views of the Julieton River & coastal marsh. Our family plans to return soon ! Easy & quick communication with hosts!

Me a 3 others in town to play golf at Sapelo Hammock Golf Club. This house was clean and neat as a pin. Everything we needed was at the location. many extras and we were well pleased. How about small flashlights in every room. This house was great and we will return in about 6 months! Hats off to the owners!!!

Quiet on the bluff

Great place to stay at Shellman's Bluff! Quaint, clean, and comfortable. Decor is beautiful. Master is very comfortable. Queen in 2nd and double bunks in 3rd are a great option. Plenty of room to spread out. Laundry with detergent etc. Kitchen and bathroom stocked with everything you might need. Keurig + carafe coffee maker. I can't think of anything you might want. Just bring food. It's home away from home only better! Fish camp a few doors down with boat launch if that's your thing. Great little restaurant within walking distance. Very quiet community. There is a band shell 'the slab' that hosts events and music. You will hear it but ends by 11?? Golf carts galore! Neighbor next door dogs bark when they are outside, but not an issue at night. If you like a comfortable clean home, in a quiet area under the mossy oaks, then this is it. Oh, if you plan on cooking meals, get groceries before you get here. The Dollar General has everything -I mean everything! But if you lack a specific ingredient, you will have to go into town (10miles??) for a true grocery store. I highly recommend staying here, but just hope it will be available the next time we visit the bluff!
