Historical 2 bed, 2 bath with 3rd room loft sleeping and pull out sofa will accommodate 9. Laundry room is equipped with washer, dryer, wash tub and deep freezer for all the fish you’ll catch!
This Lake home sits across from trophy fishing lake and has quite the history in the quiet town of Nashville MI.
Once’s famous resort dating back to the 1900’s!! Home is also located directly across the lake from the historical Charlton Park with old town village, with civil war reenactment, car shows and much more. Park offers free admission to hiking trails, beach, boat launch, grills and playgrounds.
Enjoy reading about this unique home, the history of this famous resort and about the Native Americans that lived on the banks back in the 1900’s featured in the coffee table book!
Sit back with your morning coffee on the front porch swing with beautiful views of the lake.
In the evenings enjoy sitting around the fire with 1 acre of fenced yard for the little ones and enjoy fishing, swimming, antique shopping, hiking, kayaking down the river ( attached to lake) famous Mooville ( with petting zoo, ice cream & restaurant all within 15 minutes)
10 min drive into the town of Hastings will offer you a movie theater, bowling alley, dirt track racing, kayaking & tubing, and many stores for shopping.
This home offers a very large driveway suitable for many vehicles and boats! Public boat launch is 48 seconds away with cement launch, dock, and bathroom facilities. I also offer a boat slip rental for 1 boat. Historical Charlton Park across the lake also has public boat launches.

The home was AMAZING. It was spotless and so comfy. Check in was a breeze. She even had logs set up in the fire pit for us. We will be staying again for sure. Wonderful experience overall.

The host Bridgette provided great communication and timely responses to inquiries. The home was spacious and very clean with a great view of the lake. Bridgette also included many amenities to make the stay pleasant. We did have some concerns with the bathrooms that could be resolved to improve the comfort of the stay.

This little cabin was the absolute perfect place to stay! So charming and probably the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. Highly recommended!!

Why they chose this property

I chose this location because most of my life was spent on the farm raising and training
horses.
As I got older I gave up the hard work for the enjoyment of Lake life!

What makes this property unique

This property is SO VERY unique!!! in the 1920s it was the dining hall to a historical resort. On the land was a hotel, many fishing cabins a dance hall and diving board that overlooked the lake! I put together a coffee table book of the entire history on this cabin, along with an original diary from the young girl that lived there in 1922!
Formally known as the Reid’s resort in Nashville MI.
There was a train station that stopped at the bottom of the hill along the lake. It was a major destination for travelers all over the states!
They even had a steamboat ship that would dock for travelers to stay at the hotel. This truly is a rare find!!!!
