Wildwood Retreat: Sleeps 14, Hot Tub & Game Room @ Black Butte Ranch

Welcome to Wildwood Retreat! Nestled against the tranquil canopy of the forest, this spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom retreat offers the ultimate Black Butte Ranch getaway. The layout comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests across seven beds with a dedicated bunk room—making it ideal for multi-family gatherings and group retreats.

Step outside on the giant back deck to soak in nature, unwind in your private hot tub, or gather around the fire pit beside the gentle water feature, making unforgettable memories. The back deck leads to a totally private oasis situated amidst acres of Deschutes National Forest...you can walk or bike to your heart's content directly from the cabin!

This is our happy place, and where we bring our own family. We have stocked it with games as well as bikes, pickle ball and tennis rackets, and turned the garage into a game space with ping pong, foosball and tiki bar for endless fun!

Feel free to bring your pets - they will love this too!

About the host

Hello! My name is Bre, and my husband Eric and I manage this rental. We live in Portland, Oregon and are from Montana originally. We have two kids, a dog and two kitties. We truly love central Oregon, and honestly can't believe we are lucky enough to have a place in Black Butte.

Our kids are very involved in sports, so we are not able to use the place every weekend. However, it makes us so happy to think of sharing the place with others - and all the collective memories that are getting made in this very special place.

Why they chose this property

We have done a great deal of traveling and I can honestly say, this one of the most beautiful places in the world. Everywhere you look is another stunning mountain! We love to hike, camp, float and bike, so Black Butte is ideal for outdoor recreating. We are from Montana originally, so the climate and the mountains remind us of home.

We have loved Black Butte for a long time due to its accessibility to the outdoors and the ability to give the kids more independence than we can at home. With five pools, and biking/walking trails everywhere, we have constant adventures here! We are about 10 minutes from Suttle Lake and 15 minutes to Hoodoo Ski Area, so there are adventures to be had regardless of season. We are also about 10 minutes to Sisters, which is an adorable town with all kinds of great shopping and restaurants for a night out!

What makes this property unique

This particular place is so serene. The cabin backs up to acres of Deschutes National forest, so you can walk directly from the house out into the trees for miles and miles. The way the house is situated, you feel as though you are in the trees regardless of which room you are in. The giant deck in the back is perfect for outside time with family and friends, and we have spent a lot of time tweaking it for ultimate fun.
