A warm welcome aboard our favourite boat, the Xanten 4.
We’re the new crew: Sabine, Jochen, and Uwe.
Since 01.09.2024, we’ve taken over the Xanten 4 and fulfilled a dream that we’d love to share with you.
Unfortunately, due to allergies, we’ve had to prohibit guests from bringing pets.
We’ve had a lot of fun renovating many things on board and are still going at it with enthusiasm. Just take a look at the latest photos.
For example, you’ll now find a large sun deck on the terrace where you can enjoy the amazing view.
For us, our favourite boat is always a floating retreat where time stands still and the soul finds peace.
Maybe it will become your own little paradise, far away from everyday life, with time to dream and relax. In any case, we wish you a wonderful time, and

The Xanten 4 is available for rent year-round.
Living area approx. 44 sqm, usable area approx. 65 sqm,
furnished terrace at the bow 15 sqm + additional rooftop terrace 25 sqm, length approx. 13.50 m; width approx. 6.00 m

The Xanten 4 features a modern, nautical design and furnishings. It has a spacious living area with an integrated, well-equipped kitchenette and direct access to the 15-square-meter terrace at the bow, as well as two bedrooms.
The bathroom with shower and a separate bathroom with a sink are located in separate rooms.
A 25-square-meter rooftop terrace offers additional space for sunbathing.

The FLOATING units in Xanten have been available for rent since 2014 and feature air conditioning with integrated hot-air heating. Generous window walls offer unobstructed views of the surrounding water. The windows are equipped with pleated blinds for privacy.

Living and Dining: a spacious seating area with a cosy pull-out couch and a dining table for 4 people

Kitchen: microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator (with freezer compartment), ceramic cooktop with 2 burners, mini-oven, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, sink
(The kitchen is integrated into the living area)

Sleeping: Sleeps 4 people: 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed (200 x 160 cm).
Bedding included for each bed.

Bathroom: Shower room, separate toilet with sink, including a set of towels per person per week (1 bath towel & 1 shower towel)

Outdoor area: 15 sqm terrace at the bow, furnished + 25 sqm rooftop terrace, parking at the harbour (approx. 30 m to the dock)
Storage space for bicycles or similar on land (in a locked building)
A free SUP is available.

General: Air conditioning with warm-air heating, flat-screen satellite TV, DVD and/or CD player (not available on all FLOATING units), radio (may only be available via the TV).

Wi-Fi: The owners provide all guests with Wi-Fi access via LTE. You will receive the code from the caretaker upon check-in. Depending on usage, the Wi-Fi connection may be subject to fluctuations in availability.

Note: Check-in is available between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. A surcharge of €25.00 (payable on-site) applies for check-ins after 5:30 PM.

City of Xanten visitor’s tax: Adults pay €2.60 per night; those eligible for a reduced rate (children ages 7–16, individuals with severe disabilities [80% or higher]) pay €1.30 per night.
Children up to age 6 are exempt from the visitor’s tax.

The moored houseboats are an ideal home away from home for anyone who loves the special atmosphere on the water… yet still wants to stay on land.

The furnishings are exemplary; technical changes and variations in the amenities are possible.
