This was one of the best stays i could ever imagine. Not sure if they care about me saying their names (but Michelle & Shannon), the owners are fantastic. The check in was lovely and seamless. The property was beautiful. We didn't get to use the fire pit. Beds were comfy, sheets &linens were clean without smelling of strong perfume (I have allergies and am always worried about that.) The location was easy to find. I initially thought it was far away from things, but it isn't and it gives you a county home feel while still close to amenities. I plan to definitly stay there again. I love the porch and the serenity of the place. Totally 5 stars. Great place for the entire family.
The property was new, very clean with several welcoming features inside and out. The design and layout maximized the space, provided privacy and was perfect for our party of 3 adults. We were in close proximity to a nearby town and the county fairgrounds where an event was being held that we had traveled to attend. There were several restaurants and stores within a reasonable drive. There was a state park nearby.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Dalton Homestead! The house was charming, beautifully decorated, and absolutely spotless. You can tell the hosts have put so much thought and care into making the space feel welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen was especially impressive. It had everything we could possibly have needed and then some, which made it so easy to feel right at home. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the entire house was impeccably clean and well cared for.We also really appreciated all of the thoughtful little touches throughout the home, as well as the clear and helpful communication from the hosts. Everything about our stay felt easy, comfortable, and special. The Dalton Homestead is such a cute and inviting place, and we would happily stay here again!
