During winter, the slopes of SkiResort Černá Hora – Pec and Špindlerův Mlýn are within easy reach. Cross-country skiers and winter hikers will also love the snowy mountain scenery. In summer, the mountains become a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers. Popular excursions include the Dvůr Králové Zoo, the baroque Hospital Kuks, the Stachelberg fortress and the Aquacentrum in Vrchlabí. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy courses in Prosečné and Mladé Buky.
