Whether you’re travelling with family or friends, up to four guests can enjoy a relaxing getaway in our holiday rental at the village well. The focus here is on the beautiful and spacious atmosphere of an old farmhouse dating back to 1780, complete with a lovingly tended, natural-style farm garden.
Our cosy holiday rental at the Dorfbrunnen—a former barn—offers 130 m² of living space across three levels,
connected by spiral staircases.

Location The holiday apartment at the village fountain is located in the idyllic centre of Hundsangen. This traditional village is nestled among meadows and forests—between Frankfurt and Cologne—in the Westerwald district. Here, you can fully enjoy the peace and quiet.
What does Hundsangen have to offer? Hundsangen, with its historic town hall, features a supermarket, bakery, restaurants, ice cream parlour, village pub, children’s playgrounds, an outdoor swimming pool, a park-like tree nursery, a horse farm, a self-service bank centre, a petrol station, a post office, garden centers, doctors’ offices, a dentist’s office, a physiotherapy practice, hair salons, ...
Parking You’ll find free parking right on Brunnenstraße. Your bike will have a dry spot in the designated bike storage area.

Kitchen A modern, well-equipped kitchen awaits you, featuring a large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, ceramic cooktop with oven, coffee maker/kettle, and all cooking utensils.

Bedrooms Two quiet bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed—(1.40 m x 2.00 m & 1.80 m x 2.00 m). The beds will already be made when you arrive. Should it get a bit cooler, an extra fleece blanket is available for everyone. You’ll find dressers, closets, and lockers with hangers for storing your clothes and shoes in the separate dressing room.

Bathroom A spacious bathroom with a shower, bathtub, two sinks, toilet, sauna, hair dryer, washing machine, and drying rack.
A sauna towel, shower towel, and hand towel are provided for each guest. Body wash is available at the sinks.

Sauna A sauna is available daily for you to relax and recharge. After your sauna session, you can cool off on the balcony or in the spacious bathroom.
You’ll find sauna towels and oils in the bathroom. Please bring your own slippers.

On-site costs: Price overview • The base rate for two people is €128.00 • Each additional person is €30.00 • The final cleaning fee is a flat rate of €80.00 • Prices are per night and include VAT. Important Information • Our prices are fixed rates, regardless of the season • The minimum stay is two nights • Check-in from 3:00 p.m., check-out by 11:00 a.m. • Payment Terms: 50% deposit upon booking, balance due two weeks before arrival • Pets are not allowed, nor is smoking permitted in the “Zum Dorfbrunnen” holiday rental • The holiday rental is not wheelchair-accessible. Cancellation An emergency or illness can always prevent you from taking a trip as planned. We therefore recommend that you purchase travel cancellation insurance. We also ask that you feel free to contact us at any time so that we can work together to find a solution in the event of a cancellation.
