Resort Amenity Upgrade Notice – Fall 2026

Please note: Solterra Resort is completing some exciting upgrades to its resort amenities this fall.

The lazy river will close beginning September 8, 2026, followed by the resort pool and hot tub beginning September 22, 2026. These amenities are currently expected to reopen around December 14, 2026, subject to construction, inspections, and final approvals.

During this time, the Clubhouse will remain open, along with Café Sol and delivery service, the fitness center, sports courts, clubhouse services, and available recreation areas. Solterra will also be offering additional activities and programming for guests during the renovation.

These improvements include renovations to the aquatic areas as well as the installation of a new resort bar, and we’re excited to see the upgraded amenities when completed!

Our home's private pool will remain open and is not affected by the resort renovations.

This spacious villa had an ideal layout for our party of eight, including seniors, adults teenagers and a toddler. We loved the pool, and the kids were in it every day either early morning or late evening, even after a day at the water parks! We appreciated the large fridge freezer and well equipped kitchen and also the large washer & dryer which enabled us to pack fewer clothes. The resort was quiet and fairly close to several supermarkets and the Disney Parks were 30-40 minutes away. The resort pool was pleasant and not overcrowded. The host was very quick to respond to any questions or issues. We’d be happy to stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay. The home was spotless and comfortable, and the hosts were wonderfully responsive. They answered questions quickly, arranged pool heat right away, and added thoughtful touches like coffee and little soap sets in the bathrooms that made arrival easy.We chose this place for its proximity to Disney and Universal, and it worked well for our park days. One note for future guests. Orlando traffic can be heavy, so even short distances can take up to an hour at peak times. That is not the property’s issue, just a helpful heads-up for planning.Our kids (10, 8, and 6) loved having the pool right out back. It made downtime simple and fun between park visits. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property and its attentive hosts.

Trevor was very helpful and quick to respond. We had an issue with the pool and he was quick to get it fixed. Most arbnb’s I’ve stayed in have salt and pepper so bring your own. I have att service and it was horrible there. Definitely screenshot WiFi info so you can access it right when you check in. My phone wasn’t able to ever pull up VRBO app but someone in my party has spectrum and it worked fine. There were fresh clean towels and beds were comfy. The rental itself has seen better days.. couch peeling and skillets to cook with are just ok. The fridge door bin was crooked and was not able to put drinks on that side. The freezer a little slow to make ice. We only had 4 in our party and still had to buy a bag of ice. With a few upgrades this could be a five star however the host was nice and easy to contact. Just bring your own seasonings from home and buy ice

If anything is ever missing or has been accidentally removed by a previous guest, we're always happy to have replacements delivered immediately—often through DoorDash—if we're made aware during the stay. Regarding the cell service, coverage can vary by carrier throughout the Orlando area. We always provide complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, and guests are welcome to connect as soon as they arrive using the information included in our check-in instructions. We also appreciate your comments about the cookware, furniture, and refrigerator.
