About this property

Convenient Southwest Bend, 5BR/3BA Home Near Old Mill District

Our home is located on the desirable, southwest side of Bend in the heart of best recreation activities that Oregon has to offer. Easy access to Mt. Bachelor skiing, fly fishing on remote lakes, mtn. biking, rafting, kayaking or the Old Mill District & Factory Outlet shopping are all just minutes away. Our location is closer to Mt. Bachelor than sunriver and has the added advantage of being just a few minutes to downtown Bend.

Our two-story home is spacious, bright and airy. It offers a quiet retreat for guests to get together and not feel like they are on top of one another. The gas range is ideal for the master chef, the large dining room table is warmed by the fireplace and soft sunsets. The great room offers a gathering area for games and entertainment. The front and back porches are available for those wanting to spend some time outside while at home. Sadly for our view, the trees have grown and we can no longer see Mt. Bachelor from upstairs, but we do still have a glimpse of the sisters.

We make it a priority that our home be clean for every visit, all year. Our cleaners do a much better than average job and during this time are taking all extra precautions recommended, including sanitizing all high touch surfaces.

Have you ever rented a home or looked at real estate after seeing professional photos of the space? They might exaggerate size or exclude undesirable features? You get to the home and have a feeling of "meh", it's not quite as nice as the photos suggest? Well, we have made a conscious choice not to have professional photos taken of our home. We want you to be pleasantly surprised when you come to our home, not mildly disappointed. We have received a few public and private comments speaking to the fact that our photos don't do the space justice. This actually makes us pretty happy. So come stay in our home and be pleasantly surprised!

Perfect place for our family to stay for a family wedding in Sisters. The house was great--location made it easy to get around Bend and Sisters. Kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay again when in Bend.

The whole process of booking the stay was so easy, and the house was exactly as expected. It was in a great location, and we were even able to hear a concert from the Ampitheater nearby. Very happy that we rented this house

We are very sorry for the plumbing issues. Without our knowledge or approval the landscaper turned off the water to the house to repair an irrigation issue. We did respond to the 9 pm call immediately and had a plumber there within minutes. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience.

Great For A Group

I booked the house for a guys weekend. There were six of us and the house was great. There is a large common area for hanging out and lots of bedrooms. The house was clean and had a great location not far from town. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Place for Large Groups

Our group included grandparents (us), our 2 daughters and their children (8 total). The house fitted our needs to a "T". The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, with easy access to the volcanic monument, as well as shops and stores downtown. It's really a great place. We enjoyed it.

Perfect for large family get-together

House and location are perfect! The house had everything you need and is very roomy. The back patio area was a fun place to gather around for meals. I’ve never stayed at a place with such a well-stocked kitchen! It made cooking easy. There was a large selection of spices, condiments, and an assortment of teas. If you need 5-bedrooms, this is it! Plus minutes to Old Mill District, shops, and the river.

Perfect home for multiple families on vacation!

The property was clean, very spacious, fully stocked, was a beautiful home, and had plenty of beds for everyone! The owner was quick to respond with any questions and gave very clear instructions for the home! The check out instructions were great, they didn’t ask for too much to be done and was very basic in my opinion. Like things you should be doing while staying at someone’s home! We had 6 adults and 4 children and it fit all of us perfectly with still space to move! The location was amazing and close to everything. The neighborhood was super cute and we enjoyed watching a the wildlife walk around.

VRBO in Bend

We walked into the house after our long drive from California, ran around looking at all the rooms, and pronounced the place "perfect" for our family, and it was! Beautifully laid out and furnished, lots of room (and rooms) for all of us, and really convenient--a wide driveway, an attached garage for coming and going to the car at night, a clean, quiet and very safe-feeling neighborhood, and pretty much everything we'd ever want was there in the house, from three couches to tea and coffee to extra blankets to note pads, scotch tape and scissors. And bonus: the hosts had put up a Christmas tree with lights and left extra Christmas socks for us to stuff. We loved being there.

The property is clean and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and cooking supplies. The bathrooms have no soap, shampoo or conditioner. Beds and bedding are not comfortable. The decor and furniture is old and outdated.

The house was extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable. All upstairs rooms had fans to pull in the lovely summer night air. The kitchen had every gadget and tool imaginable (except a pod coffee maker). We also enjoyed barbecuing on the deck. The pictures on the website accurately reflected the interior and exterior of the home. The lock box made it easy for guests to open up and lock up the house. I really appreciated having access to the garage so we could park our car inside at night and not feel like we had to empty it of all the wedding regalia we were toting around. The WiFi was strong, even in the upstairs bedrooms. Everywhere we needed to get to seemed to be within a 15 minute driving radius, which made our stay even better. I highly recommend this home for larger families, keeping in mind that the three upstairs bedrooms will share a bathroom.

Bend Property

The property was perfectly located for our stay. We traveled from CA for a Jack Johnson concert. The home was roomy and clean, completely equipped with all we needed. We were in walking distance from everything. The property owners were responsive to all our needs. Excellent place to stay in Bend.

Why they chose this property

We can go for a bike ride out our front door with no fear of getting run over. We can be cross country skiing in fifteen minutes and on the slopes in 30 minutes. We can go for peaceful strolls along the river and walk to go out for dinner.

What makes this property unique

We enjoy the proximity of our home to outdoor activities and to Bend events. We are a short bike ride from downtown Bend. We enjoy the festivals along the river, the concerts at Les schwab amphitheater and the ease with which we can be in a quiet environment.
