Family Beach Trip 2026

This was our 24th year for our family beach trip - us, our kids. grand kids, and friends that are like family. One of the best yet! Big house with plenty of room for all, great access to a beautiful beach and everyone really enjoyed the putting green!!! Can't wait for next year!!!

The Beach Escape

This house was great. We loved being right on the beach. View from the balcony was fantastic. The house accommodated all 15 of us very comfortably. We will be renting this house again next year.

Great location with private walkway to the beach. Good setup for a big group. The kids enjoyed the putting green too. Only major complaint was the house had an odor in the kitchen sink and dishwasher like the house hadn’t been used in a while. Also note the owner will provide no flexibility on check in and check out time and when dealing with any issues via Vacasa you are talking to a chatbot. We had a few minor issues and were told they’d be resolved by local techs but nobody ever reached out.

Great Value and Perfect for Our Family

We had 14 people in our group and the set up of the rooms was perfect for what we needed. The large kitchen, table, and living area were exactly what we needed to be able to spend time together, but folks could also retreat to rooms if they needed space and time apart. The beach access was excellent and convenient. We really loved our stay and appreciate all the memories we were able to make together.

Amazing home!

We loved this home! The kitchen, dining area, and living area is very large and spacious. The bedrooms were huge and bathrooms were as well. We had enough space for our large crew. The area on the ground floor with putting green, porch swing, and sitting area along with beachfront access was just perfect for our group! Already planning to book again here next summer!

Beautiful home on the beach

Our family had a wonderful time during our stay. The home and location was perfect. The only downside was the communication. It's obvious that they use AI bots / canned responses that provided useless information.

The dishwasher and garbage disposal broke. Contacted host at 8:45am. No response till 8pm. Called and emailed several times. They told me some one would contact me. Never did.Also one of the upstairs bedrooms was very moldy. Mold on curtains in bedroom. That bathroom was also very moldy. Family in that room ended up have mold toxic symptoms.Air conditioning was not keeping up. My husband check the AC filter and it had about one inch of build up on the filter.We stayed here last year and was very happy. It seems the maintenance upkeep to this year is not very good.

Fabulous beach week

We loved everything about the house. We had a refrigerator issue early on but was quickly resolved. The only issue we had was that there was 1 trash can for a home with 12 people on vacation? We did not know what to do with trash!

Perfect spot!

Pros- location was perfect, the house was beautiful, lots of space, especially the kitchen and master bed/bath. Outside shower was great and had hot water! No bugs or mosquitoes, the place was very clean! Cons- im not a huge fan of the woven carpet, and upstairs didn’t get as cold as downstairs but was fine to sleep. The mini putt putt looked cool but no golf clubs, only balls. Could use a blender maybe!

This house is great for large families, we all had our own space to be in. Everything we needed to cook with was here and ready to use. Beach towels are excellent! We had a short supply of propane and they came out with a new bottle the next morning. Our one complaint is the mass amount of stickers and ants. There are just a few steps on the grass from the porch to the sand, and it is covered in stickers. Other than that, our stay was excellent and we will return. Would love to see the elevator in use for our next visit!

The house is beautiful and the location to the beach is awesome. A problem we did run into was the upstairs A/C needs addressing. It was constantly getting too warm, even after it was remotely lowered. The master bdrm door to the patio has a serious leak which wasn't helping with the A/C issue. My husband came down Monday to help us pack up and noticed the vents upstairs were not opened properly which could be a contributing factor to A/C also.
