The rural district of Warendorf-Milte is located about 7 km northwest of Warendorf. In 1997, four apartments were created in an old half-timbered barn, just 500 metres from the village centre yet in a quiet location. Parking spaces, bicycle storage, and outdoor seating are included with your accommodation.
The historic district of Warendorf, with its shops, cafés, and restaurants, is worth a visit any time of year. For horse lovers, a visit to the Landgestüt NRW state stud farm is a “must”. Cyclists will find a varied network of bike paths around Milte. Conveniently, the nearest signposted bike path runs right past the holiday rental. Harkotten Castle near Sassenberg and the historic town of Telgte are beautiful destinations for a bike ride. In warm weather, the recreational area around Feldmarksee near Sassenberg is a great attraction. The nearly flat landscape even allows for bike tours all the way to Münster. On the way back, you can comfortably shorten the trip by taking the train for part of the way. Canoeists should definitely not miss a trip on the Ems River.
