New charming half-timbered house by the lake in the idyllic Münsterland region

The picturesque lakeside village of Hörster Heide is located in the beautiful Münsterland region, surrounded by forests and fields. Our cosy half-timbered house, completed just at the end of 2022, is situated right on the edge of the forest at the end of a cul-de-sac and offers 85 square metres of living space as well as a fully fenced, sunny garden. The lake is just a few steps away and can be walked around.

In the summer, enjoy cool drinks on the sunny terrace or under the covered outdoor seating area, which includes a Weber gas grill and a bike shed. Lie back on one of the sun loungers with a book, gaze into the woods, and listen to the birds chirping.
During the cooler months, the wood-burning stove creates a cosy atmosphere.

On the ground floor, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, a guest bathroom, and an open-concept living/dining area with a wood-burning stove, a wooden dining table, and a romantic view of the forest. An additional sofa (sleeper) invites you to relax. The exposed-beam oak ceiling further enhances the cosy atmosphere.

Upstairs, you’ll find a bathroom with a large shower and a view of the lake, the master bedroom with a double bed (180 cm x 200 cm), and another bedroom with two single beds (90 cm x 200 cm) that can be pushed together to form another double bed.

The outdoor area offers two parking spaces.

The accommodation is the ideal starting point for extended bike tours (100 Castles Bike Route, Ems Bike Path) through the beautiful Münsterland region. Or take day trips to Münster, the most liveable city (27 km), to the equestrian hub of Warendorf (10 km), or to the pilgrimage site of Telgte (10 km).
