Vacation home with panoramic terrace

With 105 m², the holiday home offers plenty of space for eight people (additional beds available for a weekly fee). On the lake side, the holiday home features a rooftop terrace with a glass railing, an awning, and stairs leading down to the parking area. The orientation is ideal for sunbathing during the day and enjoying the last rays of the warm evening sun.

With a view of the narrow Luzin River, you can also take beautiful souvenir photos of the sunset, depending on the weather.

The house at Luzinferien.de features an open kitchen with a stove, oven, and microwave. Standard kitchen utensils and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment are provided. Of course, a charcoal or gas grill is also available for cooking a juicy steak or a crispy sausage.

Thanks to its spacious layout—featuring a living and dining area as well as three bedrooms (one of which has a double bed and a cot)—the holiday home is ideal for large families, groups of friends, or couples with children. A narrow staircase leads to the open loft, which serves as sleeping quarters for an additional 4–6 people on the upper floor. Here you’ll find, among other things, lounge chairs with a table as well as another dining table with chairs for a cosy game night under the roof.

In winter and during the transitional seasons, the wood-burning stove creates a particularly cosy atmosphere.

The Schmale Luzin is a paradise for fishing, swimming, and diving. You can explore the surrounding lakes with your own bike or canoe/kayak (optional weekly additional fees: €20, €50). Access to the lake is via a nearby public path (Seeberg). For a small fee, I’m happy to provide my guests with surfboards and stand-up paddleboards, as well as a limited selection of standard fishing gear and accessories.

The accommodation is located one block back from the lake, directly on a traffic-calmed street with traffic levels that vary by season. Carwitz is a tourist magnet and offers a variety of seasonal activities. Fenced, paved parking areas are available. The town centre of Feldberg is about 6 km away.

Please remember to bring your own bedding and hand towels, bath towels, and tea towels. We strive to provide sufficient quantities of the standard hygiene supplies found in a holiday home (such as toilet paper and air fresheners), but we are unable to restock these items during the week. We appreciate it if you plan ahead and take personal responsibility for your well-being.

Additional information on the rental price:
Carwitz is certified as a “state-recognized resort.” Landlords are required to collect the visitor’s tax. The visitor’s tax is levied to partially cover the costs of constructing, acquiring, expanding, improving, renovating, and maintaining public facilities provided for recreational purposes. It is payable regardless of whether and to what extent the public facilities are used. A portion of these revenues is used to provide the following services for you, our guest, in the resort town:
• Tourist infrastructure & paved hiking trails
• Cleaning of swimming areas, beaches, and paths
• Public swimming facilities, beach showers, and public bathrooms
• Cultural events and concerts
• Exhibitions and childcare

The visitor’s tax is €2.00 per day year-round and is due for the entire duration of your stay in accordance with the terms of the contract (no later than the day of arrival) and must be paid to the accommodation provider.

Therefore, please specify in advance exactly who will be staying at the accommodation and when during the booking period.

Day visitors who do not stay overnight are exempt from the visitor’s tax. In addition, children up to and including age 12, bedridden patients, or other persons who are unable to use recreational facilities as defined in Section 1(1) of the bylaws, as well as severely disabled persons with a disability rating of 50 or higher and their accompanying person (provided that the notation for constant accompaniment is documented in the severely disabled person’s ID card) are exempt from the visitor’s tax.

Cancellation Policy:
Free cancellation is possible up to 21 days before the arrival date.
If you cancel the reservation at least 21 days before the scheduled check-in by 12:00 p.m. CET (Central European Time), you will receive a refund of the travel price minus a cancellation fee of €180 (free of charge). For cancellations made less than 21 days and more than 5 days before check-in, you will be refunded 50% of the travel price, minus the cancellation fee (see above).
