Welcome to “Wening Hüs – Wening Ian” in Wrixum on Föhr—a charming thatched-roof holiday home that combines North Frisian cosiness with modern living. In a quiet, idyllic setting in the popular village of Wrixum, you can enjoy a getaway filled with relaxation, nature, and that island vibe—perfect for couples seeking peace and quiet who just want to unwind.

The lovingly furnished holiday rental offers approximately 70 m² of space for up to 2 people and creates a warm, cosy atmosphere. The open living area with a fireplace and a cosy sitting area invites you to unwind—especially on cooler days, it creates a truly welcoming atmosphere. Large windows flood the space with light and harmoniously connect the interior with the garden.

The modern kitchen is well-equipped and offers everything you need for an independent holiday. The separate bedroom ensures peace and quiet and restful nights, while the bathroom is functional and well-maintained.

A special highlight is the private garden area with a terrace, which offers plenty of privacy surrounded by greenery. Here you can have breakfast in the morning sun, start your day in peace, or enjoy the Frisian tranquility in the evening.

Right next door: two additional holiday apartments for couples or families—ideal if you’re travelling with friends but still want to enjoy your privacy.

Bicycles can be stored in the garage, and a washing machine is available for your use free of charge in the basement.

Wrixum itself is one of the most beautiful island villages on Föhr—characterised by thatched-roof houses, narrow paths, and plenty of nature. At the same time, Wyk, the beach, as well as cafés and shopping are just a few minutes away and easily accessible by bike.

For added convenience, Wi-Fi, a parking space, and basic amenities are provided. Pets are allowed, so you can even bring your dog on holiday. Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. and can be contactless upon request. Bedding and towels can be booked as add-ons.

You’re welcome to bring your own bed linens and towels. Alternatively, you can conveniently book linen packages for an additional fee.

Keys are handed over Monday through Saturday between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM—and, upon request, we’re happy to arrange a hassle-free contactless pickup. Check-out is available until 10:00 a.m. To ensure you can relax and enjoy your holiday from start to finish and make the most of your time with us, we’re happy to offer early check-in or late check-out upon prior arrangement and for an additional fee.
