This beautiful and family-friendly accommodation is located in the Free Time holiday village, situated in Marina di Bibbona in the beautiful region of Tuscany. Surrounded by the beautiful Tombolo pine forest and situated in a strategic location, you can reach wonderful cities such as Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena, Populonia, and the island of Elba in less than an hour from here. The resort is within walking distance of the crystal-clear waters of the Etruscan Coast, which—thanks to its gently sloping beach—is ideal for families with children. The resort offers all the amenities you need for a pleasant family holiday. Among other things, you’ll find a pool with a slide, a children’s paddling pool, entertainment, a mini-club, a restaurant/pizzeria, takeaway, a bar, a mini-market, a general store, a playground, football and volleyball fields, outdoor fitness equipment, a sauna, and many other services, such as bike rentals. Just a 15-minute drive away, you’ll also find a large water park (Acqua Village) and an amusement and leisure park (Cavallino Matto). The resort is car-free, making it ideal for children, as they can move about freely.
The Happy Superior accommodation is comfortably furnished and sleeps 7 people. There are a total of three bedrooms: one with a double bed and two with two single beds each. A sofa bed in the open-concept living and dining area provides additional sleeping space. All bedroom windows are equipped with mosquito nets. The well-equipped kitchen is located in the living area and features a 4-burner gas stove, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a refrigerator. There is one bathroom with a sink, shower, toilet, and hair dryer, as well as a second bathroom adjacent to the double bedroom, featuring a sink, shower, and toilet. The covered wooden deck, equipped with a table, chairs, a hanging chair, two lounge chairs, and a small electric grill, is perfect for cosy barbecue evenings. Note: If you need more than one accommodation unit, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same style.
ARRIVAL DATE + LENGTH OF STAY
Please refer to the calendar for the arrival and departure dates as well as the minimum length of stay for your desired season. Note: If, for any reason, you are unable to arrive on the scheduled arrival date, check-in on the following day is of course possible (please notify us before arrival). The same applies if you wish to depart early. In this case as well, departure on the previous day is possible. However, the rental period and price specified at the time of booking remain unchanged.
BEACH
The sandy beach is located just 700 metres from the holiday resort and can be reached via a pleasant walking path (you’ll pass through a shaded, wonderfully fragrant section of pine forest). During peak season, you can also use the free shuttle train, which takes you to within about 350 metres of the beach. The beach is wide and gently sloping, making it ideal for families. In addition to a private beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas, there is also plenty of space on the public beach. There’s a beach bar where you can enjoy a light snack in the shade.
POOL
The resort features a large pool with a slide as well as a children’s paddling pool. It features a spacious area with lounge chairs, so you can relax and unwind during your holiday.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
A team of enthusiastic activity leaders looks forward to delighting adults and children alike with a varied entertainment programme during their stay: Latin dance, aqua aerobics, sports classes and tournaments, games on the beach and by the pool. In the evening: cabaret, shows, piano bar, karaoke, and themed parties. For the little ones, there’s a great mini-club and a playground.
LEISURE AND SPORTS
In addition to the pool—where water aerobics classes are held regularly—the resort also features a football field, a volleyball court, and table tennis tables. There are also great bike paths through the pine forest that connect the towns along the coast. Bike rentals are available. There’s a fitness area where you can work out. The resort also includes two lakes where you can go sport fishing. A riding stable is 3 km away.
SHOPPING
At the mini-market, you can find fresh fruits and vegetables, bread, cold cuts, cheese, and other groceries. The complex also features a general store selling tobacco products, newspapers, children’s toys, beachwear, souvenirs, and camping gear.
MEALS
The apartment features a well-equipped kitchen with dishes, silverware, and pans. Shopping options are also nearby. Of course, you can also take advantage of half-board or full-board options at favourable rates. You’re welcome to book these on-site (no advance reservation is necessary). The resort has a restaurant/pizzeria where you can treat yourself to the culinary delights of Tuscan and Italian cuisine! Alternatively, takeaway is available.
PETS
One pet weighing up to 35 kg is permitted if registered at the time of booking. Guests are required to pay a 120-euro deposit if bringing a dog. If everything is in order upon departure, guests will receive a 100-euro refund of the deposit, and 20 euros will go to the resort to cover additional cleaning costs.
SPECIAL INFORMATION
Cars and motorcycles are not permitted to drive around this holiday resort. The tenant is responsible for final cleaning. Cleaning supplies such as brooms, mops, etc., are provided. The accommodation is inspected afterwards to ensure they are clean. Any complaints will result in a charge of 50 euros. High chairs and travel cots must be requested at the time of booking (for a fee as specified in the additional costs) or reported no later than 1 week before arrival (later requests cannot be guaranteed).On-site, it is mandatory to purchase a club card (for guests aged 3 and older).

The holiday village is located directly on the sea, and the beach is a leisurely 700-meter walk away. The centre of Marina di Bibbona is just a few minutes’ walk away (approx. 5 min.).
TOWN AND SURROUNDINGS
Marina di Bibbona is a seaside resort in beautiful Tuscany, nestled among pine forests. The town is ideal for a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature. The coastline, with its wide sandy beaches, offers wonderful days at the beach for the whole family. The forests are perfect for scenic hikes, bike rides, or horseback riding. You can take a stroll through the narrow streets of the town, visiting the churches of Santa Maria della Pietà or Sant’Ilario, or exploring the various markets. A wide selection of restaurants and cafés invites you to linger. The surrounding towns offer a variety of restaurants, cafés, and nightclubs. Interesting cities like Pisa, Lucca, Siena, and Florence are perfect for day trips. A visit to the medieval town of Volterra is definitely worth it! The Acqua Village in Cecina Mare, with its water slides, and the “Cavallino Matto” leisure and amusement park promise ultimate water fun for the whole family. The island of Elba and the other islands of the Archipelago National Park—such as Capraia, Pianosa, Giglio, and Giannutri—are all within reach for a day trip. Il Calidario is a well-equipped wellness centre with a natural spring whose water temperature is 36°C. In addition to high-quality wines, the Wine Route offers the opportunity to discover the region’s typical products and sample its distinctive specialities, such as olive oil, honey, cheese, and salami. One village on the Wine Route is Bibbona, which, with its magnificent nature trails through the woods, is the ideal place for hiking enthusiasts and mountain bikers. The famous Spiagge Bianche in Rosignano-Solvay (the white beaches), with their fine, light-colored sand and blue sea, are just a few kilometres away. Along the coast, you can enjoy various water sports, and the wind, which blows fairly constantly, has made Vada one of the most popular destinations for sailing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing enthusiasts. The Secche di Vada—a stretch of sea with very shallow waters—attracts fishing enthusiasts year-round. The opportunity to explore seabeds teeming with rich flora and fauna and to marvel at the unexpected natural and archaeological features found here makes it an ideal destination for many scuba divers. Nature lovers can visit the adventure park Il Giardino Sospeso. Here, you can spend a day in the forest on acrobatic suspension bridges among the trees.
