Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the sports field right next to the guesthouse, the Watzmanntherme spa—which is less than a 3-minute walk away—and the ice rink. Hiking and mountain enthusiasts can set out on many hikes right from the guesthouse (Kneifelspitze, Obersalzberg, etc.), and all other mountain destinations are also nearby. Young families, seniors, and spa guests appreciate the close proximity to many attractions, such as the salt mine with the therapeutic salt tunnel (a 5-minute walk), the Obersalzbergbahn with its summer toboggan run (a 10-minute walk), or the “Markt” town center with the Haus der Berge, numerous restaurants, and shopping options. The Hofbräuhaus Berchtesgaden is also just a 5-minute walk away, so you can enjoy its world-famous beer without a care in the world. Our well-designed first-floor apartment features a spacious living-dining area with a pull-out sofa bed, cable TV, and a telephone. A cozy dining area offers enough space for up to 4 people. It also features a separate bedroom with a double bed and a spacious closet. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a double stovetop, a fridge-freezer combo, a coffee maker, and a sink. All kitchen utensils for daily use are provided. The private bathroom includes a shower, toilet, and sink. Towels are, of course, provided. A balcony measuring approximately 6 square meters is accessible from the living area. The apartment features free Wi-Fi. Free parking is available on-site. Very central location on a side street between the Watzmanntherme (200 m on foot) and the salt mine with the salt healing tunnel (500 m on foot), directly across from the “Breitwiese” sports field. The Hofbrauhaus Berchtesgaden, with its cozy Bräustüberl, is only 400 meters away, so you can safely leave your car behind and enjoy an extra beer or two. The ice rink and the Obersalzbergbahn are just a 10-minute walk away, as is the town center’s “Markt,” which is 900 meters away. Even without a car, many destinations are within walking distance, and the nearby “Watzmann Therme” bus stop—with RVO connections (e.g., direct service to Salzburg)—is just a 3-minute walk away.
