A brief overview of our Karlsson holiday rental

This holiday rental is located on the ground floor of the holiday home and has a floor area of 110 square metres, divided into two large bedrooms, a bathroom with a bathtub, a kitchen-diner, and a large living area;

Surrounded by two large terraces and a fenced-in garden with a wonderful view of the Gerolstein Dolomite cliffs, you can barbecue and relax outdoors here;

The apartment features a fully equipped, new kitchen, including a dishwasher and a large, freestanding refrigerator with a spacious freezer compartment;

During the summer months and when the weather permits, you’ll find a highlight: a heated hot tub on one of the two terraces (please enquire)

It is suitable for a maximum of four adults and two small children. One of the bedrooms is equipped with a cot for children up to ten years old;

Entertainment is provided by a 75-inch flat-screen TV in the living room and a 55-inch flat-screen TV in one of the bedrooms—both are, of course, smart TVs;
Wi-Fi and board games;

As in all of our apartments, an unlimited number of dogs are allowed here as well.

Our two Karlsson&Bär holiday apartments are located in a detached two-family home and were extensively renovated in 2023 and 2024. We value quality, but also cosiness and warmth—you’ll find high-quality beds, mattresses, blankets, and pillows here, and all rooms are furnished not only in a modern style but also to be cosy. Aside from the two holiday apartments, there are no other guests in the house! If you’re travelling with larger groups, you can also book both holiday apartments at the same time and have the entire house to yourselves as a group.
Our kitchens are fully stocked with the basics, so you don’t have to worry about the “little things”: spices, tea towels, dishwasher tablets, a selection of coffee pods for our Tassimo machines, tea, paper towels, etc.
Each holiday rental features a 75-inch smart TV in the living room and a 55-inch smart TV in one of the two bedrooms; in addition to high-speed Wi-Fi, there’s also a selection of classic board games and party games. We’ve also thought of the little ones: both apartments are equipped with a selection of children’s toys.
Our holiday home is very centrally located and within walking distance of most of Gerolstein’s attractions. In just a few minutes, you can walk to city centre Gerolstein. Here, you can stroll through the shops, enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or an ice cream, or visit one of the many restaurants. The Gerolstein indoor and outdoor pools are also just a few minutes’ walk away. Nevertheless, our holiday home is in a quiet location, and you’ll have no trouble finding parking right outside the door.
In all of our apartments, you can check in and out at your convenience.We use modern key codes, so you can pick up the keys to your holiday apartment stress-free and without any time pressure.
For both apartments, you have the option to book a linens package in advance. If you choose this option, you’ll find the beds freshly made, and there will be a sufficient number of towels in the apartments. If you’re travelling with dogs, unfortunately your four-legged friends aren’t allowed on the beds if you use our bedding. However, feel free to bring your own bedding—in that case, we even allow dogs in bed. The one-time surcharge for the linens package is €25 per stay and apartment (not per person!).
