Eagle eye views of the Feather River canyon and mountains surrounded by forest

This private studio/suite has lofty views of the forest, gardens and the Feather River Canyon. There is a trail for hiking or mountain biking access to the river for fishing, swimming or rafting. Your accommodation is an 1100 sq ft. suite with high vaulted ceilings and wood beams and is privately situated on the east wing of the owners home. The access is B & B style into a large foyer and up a log staircase and over to the private east wing of the owners home. Restful sleeping is yours with the queen sized log bed and there is a small en suite with a double futon bed. The spa sized bath has a spa tub and separate walk in shower. The bath counter top is granite with 2 copper sinks. Includes Direct TV, full sized coffee maker, mini refrigerator & microwave. French doors access a balcony/deck with bistro table & chairs to enjoy the sound of the Feather River and wildlife sightings while you sip on your morning coffee or relax at the end of the day with a glass of your favorite beverage. There are restaurants, shops, golfing, lakes, gas station, stores & post office within 1 to 15 miles away. Please feel free to contact the owner with any questions.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Comfortable, quiet and relaxing accommodation with forest views out every window. And dog-friendly to boot. Would not have even known the owner was there if we had not run into her when got back from dinner one night. Highly recommended.

Quiet comfort

At the River Ridge homestay, we were surrounded by the quiet beauty of a forested river canyon. The accomodations for sleeping, relaxing and dining-in were roomy, comfortable and clean. The host was very gracious.

Scenic Adventure

Beautiful property and wonderful host

We had an excellent stay while we were in the area for a wedding. Jeanette was a wonderful host and an expert on the area. We loved all the windows looking out to the property and drinking coffee watching all the hummingbirds and listening to the sounds of the river. So peaceful! She had tons of amenities and everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely come back!

Great hideaway off the beaten path

This is a great spot unlike other options in the area. The hostess is a good communicator and made staying here easy. The room is spacious comfortable and quiet. I would certainly stay here again.

Pleasant experience. Quite and very comfortable. Beautiful location. Just 5 minutes or less from the wedding venue. Local towns were very charming and super nice people. Host living in the house was very kind and helpful.

Beautiful Retreat

The views are spectacular and area very quiet and private. The large studio and bath were very clean with nice decor and furnishing in the suite. There are beautiful views from the balcony, and was the perfect location for a wedding we had to attend just down the road. Jeannette was very nice and helpful with info on nearby activities and restaurants, etc. We saw her briefly on check-in and check-out and always felt we had the place to ourselves. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway!

Quiet getaway

We were in the area for a wedding. The home is very quiet and seems so secluded in the trees and overlooking the river valley, yet is close to Graeagle/Blairsden and other attractions. The check-in process was simple and the communication with the host was very good. Jeannette had information about the area available in the suite to review and was helpful with dining options in the area. Would absolutely stay here again if in the area.

Beautiful Stay!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The studio/suite was huge. We were very comfortable. You do enter through the main foyer of the house but that was no problem for us. The suite was very private, up the stairs and on the opposite end of the house. It also has a Large, nicely appointed bathroom and everything felt SO clean. It was far better than a hotel. We had our coffee on the balcony enjoying the view. This house was only a couple minutes away from the wedding venue we attended which was convenient. The owner Jeannette was very nice and easy to communicate with. We wish we had a longer stay so we could have hiked down to the river. Beautiful views and beautiful home.

Wedding weekend

My cousin got married lol in Graeagle and there were not a lot of lodging options as people are there for summer vacations. Found this place and was perfect for our needs. This is a master suite upstairs is huge and plenty of room.. There is no kitchen access but we did not need it so the fridge and mini fridge was perfect
