You'll step out of your car and immediately be taken by the beauty. Then you'll head up the stairs to the great room and your jaw will drop. The view from the great room is breathtaking and the room itself is so inviting you'll never want to leave. Sit back, enjoy the ragged ridges and beautiful peaks of lower Chair Mountain. The clear mountain waters of the Crystal River flow across the street. Wander down the driveway to fly fish or sit by the river. Do you Mountain Bike? Road Bike? Hike? Trail Run? Like to Relax? Enjoy Family Time? You have all the options from the Red-Marble retreat. We're located in an ideal place between Marble and Red stone (thus Red-Marble) on a quiet private road. The house has a large great room, a game room with a pool table, an air hockey table, a ping pong table (and many other board games), 4 bed rooms, a large kitchen with an open dining area, a private office, a deck with a grill and big open areas that are wonderful spaces to spend time. Come to enjoy & get away!

The photographs do not do this home justice. What a fantastic place for our family get-together. The views are breathtaking. The home is huge with every comfort. The kitchen is fully stocked. Communication with the owner was excellent. Crystal River can be heard from the Master bedroom. So much room for family time and also quiet time. Plenty of parking and an excellent location.

Would not stay there again - mice !

House is located in a very nice area but need significant update. We would be OK with that, however, during our stay we had seen 3 mice in the house and one dead in the trap. Owner and property manager were aware of mice in the house and didn't find it required to inform us about this situation in the house. I contacted property manager after the stay and she was not willing to take any actions and told me that it is normal to have mice in the house in the nature. Well, it is not! We are staying in VRBO houses in Colorado every month and this is first time that we experienced something like that. Not recommend!

Great house for a large group.

The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The beds are so comfortable and the living room is huge and plenty of seats for everyone to hang out. The house owner responded very quickly when we had issues with the garage door. The view is beautiful from the large living room windows and the deck off the kitchen.

Wonderful location with plenty of room

This is a great property with tons of room and easy access. The manager was very kind and welcoming. She is full of information about the cabin and the area. The cabin is in the perfect location between Redstone and Marble. We enjoyed both locations. Check out Redstone for outdoor concerts with a beautiful back drop. I would highly recommend a jeep trip to the Crystal Mill and dinner afterwards at Slow Groovin BBQ. We hope to visit again.

Colorado Retreat

Our party stayed here for a week. We had such a great time. The house was very well stocked and super clean. If your looking for a place that's off the beaten path about a 27 mile drive to the market, this is it. Very close to Redstone. A very quaint town that we fell in love with. A lot of history in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Not the cleanest cabin

The property was not ready for said check in time. The property was not as clean as it should be. Property needs a deep clean, and some updating. Beds and rooms we comfortable. Kitchen was stocked, just not very clean. Lots of games and things to do for kids and adults. Would stay again if the property was cleaned much better.

We are now fortunate enough to divide our time between PA & CO. Operating a whitewater rafting & bike tour company in Ohiopyle, PA during the summer, we spend the winter working on marketing materials and preparing for the PA summer from our wonderful home in CO. Why they chose this property

The views! The location! I can't say enough about both. From the great room you'll find yourself staring at the rocky ridges of Chair Mountain and Ragged Peak. Enjoy sipping coffee and watching the sun rise over the peaks. Based only 20 miles from Carbondale, but not all the way in Marble, you'll feel like you're away from it all. We do.

What makes this property unique

Walking out from the kitchen to the deck, listening to the Crystal River and taking in the views isn't something you get to enjoy everyday, but after enjoying it once, you'll remember it forever. It is a moment that sticks with you.
