Altenauer Kaffeehaus The comfortable group house in the middle of Altenau!

Welcome to the Altenauer Kaffeehaus. Our group house features 5 bedrooms, 1 dining room, 1 kitchen, 1 living room, 1 office with a sofa bed, 1 game and foosball room, as well as 3 full bathrooms and 1 bathroom.

A small terrace is directly adjacent to the living room. The garden offers plenty of space and is available for use. The house also has a large bike shed that guests are welcome to use.

If needed, we offer a laundry service (bed linens + 2 towels). We also offer the option to book the garden and barbecue hut (“Brockenstube”). Please let us know if you’d like to do so. The guest fee will be billed on-site individually per travel group.

Altenau and the Harz Mountains offer a wide variety of recreational activities. Cycling, hiking, and motorbiking are just a few examples. Numerous brochures are available at the accommodation. In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find a Nahkauf supermarket, a bakery, a butcher shop, a pharmacy, and various restaurants. The Sauna-Therme in Altenau also offers opportunities to relax, even on a rainy day.

Wir waren mit 6 Personen für ein Wochenende in dem Haus. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden. Alle Räume waren geräumig und sehr sauber, insbesondere die Küchenausstattung war hervorragend.Der Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer sowie mit dem Hausmeister lief reibungslos. Wir werden sicherlich noch einmal wieder kommen.

Wir haben uns von jung bis alt sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen. Es war alles sauber und ausreichend ausgestattet. Und auch die Lage zu Ausflugspunkten, Wanderungen usw. ist prima.Einziger Kritikpunkt: Ein Hinweis darauf, dass die Bettdecken z.T. Übergröße haben, wäre hilfreich gewesen.Gerne wieder.
