Long Lake Waterfront Getaway Home

This waterfront rental home features three spacious bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and great living space that can accommodate up to 6 guests. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with an attached bathroom that boasts a clawfoot tub. The second bedroom has a full size bed and two twin beds. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a view of the lake. Both the second and third bedrooms have a shared bath with a stall shower. The porch has seating and a dining table for evening dinners. The porch leads out to a deck overlooking Long Lake and forever wild state land across the lake. The kitchen has a gas stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and dishwasher. A washer and dryer is on the premises. This serene location is in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. Close to hiking trails and great fishing right off the dock. Only 7 miles from the famous Adirondack Museum and 20 minutes from the spectacular Wild Center at Tupper Lake.
Come visit the Adirondacks! Enjoy the beautiful foliage and hiking through the woods.

The King family has owned this house since the early 1970's. Mr. King was a New York State Conservation Officer for 25 years and the entire family has a deep love for nature and the Adirondack Park.

Why they chose this property

This property is in a perfect location for family and friends to vacation in the pristine Adirondack Park. The cottage is located on the former Deerland Lodge property, a resort from the turn of the last century. Originally built as the Golf Cottage, it has charm and appeal. This property provides access to the water as well as boating, fishing, swimming, skiing and more. Enjoy the feeling of the Adirondacks in this turn of the century house set back with beautiful views of the south end of Long Lake.
