Our stay at Long Lake was relaxing and beautiful. The big windows looking out to the lake made you always feel you were right there. We love the Adirondack chairs on the dock that made it so relaxing to all sit together. Well stocked kitchen, since we like to cook, was great. The host was very polite and accommodating. Would stay there again.

Paradise on Long Lake
We ate every meal possible on the deck overlooking the lake. Our best days included canoeing as far as we could go, and swimming afterwards off the dock. The peace and quiet soothed our souls, and we unwound and relaxed. We saw wildlife beyond our expectations: a bald eagle, an osprey, a kingfisher preening itself on the dock, great blue herons, and loons giving their vocal shows. The house is spacious, with a wall of windows overlooking the lake, and a well-lit, very well-equipped kitchen. Town is not very far away by car, with a decent grocery store. Kyle was extremely helpful. We can't wait to come back next year!

Hello Amy and Nick -
Thank you for review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and the wildlife that surrounds our home. Please know you are always welcome back!
We had an amazing stay! This is our second year returning to this house and it was even better! Kyle was extremely helpful and easily to contact! I would highly recommend renting this property!
Our first stay on Long Lake and we can't wait to come back again! The location of the camp is perfect for a quiet and relaxing getaway. We fished off the dock, sipped coffee and listened to the Loons each morning on the lake, hiked Owl's Head and Blue Mountain, spent two days at the beach in Long Lake which the kids loved, and also rented a pontoon boat from Long Lake Marina - which was so nice to have for cruising Long Lake. At the end of the day we grilled out on the charcoal grill and sat by the fire making smores for the kids. Really beautiful place to spend a week with family. Kyle was super helpful and responsive to all questions we had and we all felt right at home the whole time. Looking forward to coming back again soon!

The house is exactly as described plus more. Lake view is amazing .Clean and the kitchen is stocked with plenty of cookware . Days filled with lake activity while fire pit on the beach made for late night smores. The sunsets are amazing.
We had an amazing stay at the home. It was exactly where we were looking to stay and fortunately available when I was looking. We rented a canoe and paddle board in town and were able to canoe within an hour’s time to the house.
The fishing was amazing. We caught and released catfish, pike and small mouth bass from the dock. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get away and enjoy Long Lake and the Adirondacks.
It has a fire place/pit and picnic table which we used a couple nights and a charcoal grill for cooking meals, in addition to all the kitchen amenities (gas stove, dishwasher, fridge with ice maker and double sink). Thanks so much, Kyle and family!
This location was perfect for our family to rest & recharge. The view was amazing & it was so peaceful! We enjoyed playing board games, sitting by the fire, & using the fully stocked kitchen. It was also convenient to stores & hiking trails.
Great place to get away and relax. There's something for everyone nearby, whether you want to boat, fish, swim, hike, visit a museum, or watch a sunset. Quick drive into Long Lake where you can grab dinner, swim, or listen to a band on the beach on a Friday night. Far enough away from neighbors which made it quiet and private. Plenty of room for family and friends.
Great, relaxing vacation! Kitchen has everything you need. Very clean waterfront home with great views, boat dock and all of the amenities needed for a great vacation!
Had a great stay. Kyle the owner was great, responded quickly to all my questions ahead of our stay. Accommodations were very comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful
I highly recommend this cottage. The pictures accurately depicted the cottage: it's nice and big. It was very clean. I liked that there were many staples in the pantry - all the basics plus more. Beautiful views of the lake, and the back deck is the place to be morning, noon, and night. Very close to town but far enough away to feel one is in one's own little slice of paradise. The owner is very accessible and responsive.

Peaceful Long Lake vacation
This was our first time vacationing on the southern end of Long Lake. The view is beautiful and the area is very peaceful. Docked our fishing boat on site and the bass fishing was lots of fun. Laundry on site was a real bonus. The kitchen makes cooking an easy choice over going out. Our family enjoyed two great weeks at this comfortable camp.

Loved our stay here
This property was perfect for our vacation. We have stayed in several different rental properties before and I can honestly 5 that these owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions that were sent. The property is pretty much exactly as described. Except the yard was much bigger than I thought it would be. I would have liked a shower in the second bathroom. The house was very clean and although furniture wasn't modern it was nice. My family loved this place and we would definitely stay here again.

Winter getaway
We take our annual guys winter trip to long lake every year. This was our first time at Kyle's place. We were pleasantly surprised how big and comfy the place was. Drinking coffee in the sun room in the morning watching the snowmobiles zip across the lake was relaxing. Great winter retreat!

Great comfy family place
This house was perfect for a family. Comfy and warm and right on the lake. The owner was friendly and helpful and stopped by our first evening there to help us with anything we needed.
We've stayed in somewhat bigger somewhat fancier somewhat more expensive homes through Long Lake Realty. In many ways we preferred this house, for the personal warm touch.

great place
Every summer we have a family reunion somewhere in the Adirondacks. My wife and I live in Vermont and my mom and sister live in Niagara Falls, NY. We choose a place in between. My mom is 91 and uses a walker so we need something handicapped accessible and we had no problem at Kyle's. The house was wonderfully situated right on the lake and the views were fantastic. It was clean and has everything you could want for a comfortable stay and more. We met practically Kyle's whole family and everyone was kind and helpful. We were also close to a couple of fun restaurants, there was good hiking nearby, and it was a beautiful trip to the Adirondack Museum. Quite a spot. The shower was a bit small but we managed fine. We're not big TV watchers, so we didn't miss it. But if your idea of a fun vacation is to turn in to your favorite programs, you might want to look for something else. One thing that was sort of important was that they didn't have cell phone coverage there. They kindly let us use their land line to communicate with each other. Once there together, we adapted. Everyone in our party had a great time and we'd all highly recommend it for a short or long stay. Our dogs loved it too. They even came and got the garbage and recycling—the other places we've stayed had us drop it off when we were leaving. There might be something better out there, but we haven't found it. Many thanks.

We want to tell you we loved your house on long lake. It was very warm and inviting. We would love to return some day when we can really enjoy the lake although the kids did take the rowboat out and explore the island. All the accommodations were great. Thanks again
We also heard the story about your dogs lifesaving experience. WOW!
My dad who is legally blind from maclier degeneration also did well because we were all on one level
Enjoy your summer
