The unit is in a nice residential / hospital neighborhood. We stayed for ~5 days. The parking is not free, but only ~16 EUR for 3-days for on-street parking, so very reasonable. We found it easy to take the tram downtown. If we returned to Dresden for ~5+ days again, we would consider staying again. The only downside is it is above an Indian and Kebab restaurants, and periodically you could smell the cooking, but this was not all the time and while noticeable was never strong enough to really be a concern.
