With great attention to detail, the non-smoking house “Casa Samara” was extensively renovated between 2022 and 2025, furnished to a high standard, and equipped with modern technology—a truly unique property on the western shore of Lake Maggiore. This small, detached house, with approximately 40 m² of living space spread over two levels, is situated on a completely quiet, sun-drenched hillside in the Carmine Inferiore district, about 2 km south of Cannobio. Surrounded by palm trees, Mediterranean plants, and a well-maintained garden with a terrace, a year-round saltwater pool, and a panoramic balcony, you’ll enjoy an unobstructed view across the lake to the mountains on the opposite shore. The stylish interior design, the modern, well-equipped kitchen-dining area, two air-conditioned bedrooms, and an inviting bathroom make the house a place where you’ll feel right at home. Thanks to its well-thought-out layout and separate sleeping and living areas, “Casa Samara” is perfect for couples, small families, or friends travelling together who still want their own private retreats. A hiking trail begins right on the property. The charming old town of Cannobio, the weekly market, cafés, boutiques, and Cannero Riviera with its promenade and boat service are all within easy reach. A special highlight: The entire home’s controls—from lighting to the pool to security cameras—are managed via a provided iPad with SmartHome connectivity. Combined with thoughtful amenities such as USB-C outlets, Wi-Fi, voice control (Siri & Alexa), and wireless charging stations, you can look forward to a holiday that uniquely blends design, technology, and relaxation—any time of year. The covered parking area above the house offers secure, convenient parking for your car. To protect the Bio-Pozzo system and the environment, we provide our guests with biodegradable cleaning products and cellulose toilet paper. Pets are not allowed.

Note: For security reasons, outdoor cameras are installed at the property entrance. Only the garden gate and trash bin areas—i.e., publicly accessible outdoor areas—are monitored. Indoor areas are generally not monitored. Other private living areas such as the pool, garden, patio, and front door are, of course, not under video surveillance during your stay—these outdoor cameras are turned off. Unfortunately, due to its architectural design, the house is not suitable for people with limited mobility. In particular, the stairs may pose difficulties for people with mobility impairments. Additionally, access may be problematic for lowered vehicles.
