Our service is personalised and attentive. The Insel-Hof Reichenau is situated right in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our historic property has been family-run for three generations. Our uniquely situated lakeside terrace is an oasis of tranquility; let yourself be enchanted by the idyllic surroundings. Whether for a relaxing holiday, a family trip, or a romantic getaway—our bed-and-breakfast on Reichenau is the ideal place to experience the beauty of the lake and the island. Enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of Lake Gnadensee. On summer days, shady plane trees and a large garden with inviting, comfortable lounge chairs invite you to linger and relax. Take a holiday like in the old days—without a cell phone or a watch—write postcards, read a good book, take a break from the hustle and bustle, and let your mind wander. Private parking spaces at the property are available free of charge. The property is a 15-minute drive from the city of Konstanz and a 1-hour drive from the Swiss city of Zurich. If you’re arriving after 6:00 p.m., you’ll need a code for the key box to complete your self-check-in. Please call us by 5:00 p.m. on the day of your arrival.
Our 65-square-meter “Abt Ekkehard” holiday apartment was completely renovated and modernised in early 2024. It is located on the ground floor of the historic main building and features a spacious terrace as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom offers a beautiful view of the lake.
The large garden, with plenty of seating and a wonderful view of the lake, is perfect for relaxing outdoors.
