About this property

Charming Cottage in Milhars, Between Bastides and Valleys

In the heart of the Tarn, where Quercy, Rouergue, and Albigeois meet, Milhars is a medieval gem nestled between Cordes-sur-Ciel, Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, and Najac. It’s the perfect starting point to explore bastides, wild valleys, and the region’s most beautiful villages.

Known as the “village of walls,” Milhars enchants with its spiral layout around a restored 17th-century feudal castle. Its highlighted ramparts, peaceful atmosphere, and quality of life make it ideal for a relaxing getaway, far from the bustle.

This characterful house is at the entrance of the old village, semi-detached but not overlooked, facing south. Enjoy a covered terrace with views of the hills, a private outdoor area with gate, barbecue, and garden furniture. Parking is possible right in front of the cottage (not private, space can be freed on request).

Comfortable, authentic interior:

Ground floor: spacious living room set against the rock, naturally cool in summer. Friendly lounge with fully equipped open kitchen (dishwasher, mini oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, blender, fridge), dining area, and sofas with TV.

Upstairs: 1 bedroom with 140 × 190 cm bed, bathroom with bathtub, double sink, washing machine, and separate WC.

Services:

Bed linen and towels available for an extra fee. Disposable, hygienic bed covers provided. Optional cleaning on arrival (for an extra fee), otherwise please leave the accommodation clean.

A genuine retreat to relax, explore, and enjoy the calm of a charming medieval village.
