Key Colony Beach is located at MM 53.5 at the northern end of Marathon. The Islands of Marathon span about 15 miles in the Middle Keys, halfway between Key West and Key Largo. The historic Island of Pigeon Key is located at the north end of the 7-mile bridge with its 65-foot high span. The bridge offers easy access to the Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic Ocean. The Islands of Marathon are a bird watcher's paradise - spot roseate spoonbills, bald eagles, great blue herons and much more native to the region. The Marathon Wild Bird Center is located at Crane Point Hammock, a hardwood hammock and natural history museum. Kayak and explore the miles of tunnels under the mangroves. Three years and counting at 240 9th street

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have really enjoyed staying in this rental for three months every year. We think of it as our “other” home. We look forward to returning next year. The sofa in the living room has seen better days; I would never allow anyone to open it up to use the convertible bed. That’s the only reason I didn’t give all 5 stars.

Great location and nice home!

The home fit our family of 6 nicely. It is well kept and in a great location. The beds and pillows could be updated as they are a hard but after spending all day fishing and in the sun you are so tired out you sleep anyway.
