About this property

Perfect beach retreat!

Our beautiful townhouse is located on Cape San Blas, in the gated community of Barrier Dunes. The beach - voted number one in America by Dr. Beach - is a three minute walk, where you will find the clubhouse, seaside pool, not to mention the ocean. The cool white sand beaches are almost never crowded, and many days you can spot dolphins in the surf. Right next door to our community is St. Joseph State Park, a great place to enjoy wildlife, Hiking, biking, or water activities-it even hosts a marina where you can launch your boat.
The 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse is a corner unit across the street from one of the 2 pools and tennis court. More guests can be accommodated with the foldout sofa in the living room; the master bedroom features a queen bed; the second bedroom also has a queen size bed. Kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance you will need for your vacation, from dishwasher to ice maker! The bedrooms and living room are equipped with flat panel TVs and Blue Ray DVD players. There is free long distance phone, and cable with free WiFi. A full size washer and dryer are located in our laundry room, and the living room has a assortment of movies, books and games.
Outside, our townhouse sports 3 balconies (all with seating), one with a gas grill, and 2 of which overlook the pond (one of the stocked fishponds). We have our own out door shower with hot and cold water. Beach chairs and umbrellas are provided. There is a bike path that runs the entire length of the cape for your enjoyment and exercise.
Two great Florida towns are a short drive away - Port St. Joe and Apalachicola. Both provide great opportunities for shopping and excellent sea food. If you're looking for 'Major' shopping, take a scenic 45-minute drive down the coast to Panama City. Golf you're looking for? St. Joseph's Bay Country Club is just minutes away. "We are not looking for the many, but rather the few who appreciate"

Wonderful beach condo

We had a fantastic vacation with our family here. Kevin was very responsive, and the condo was perfect for what we wanted. About a 5 minute walk from the beach, and right next to the pickleball courts which we used quite a bit. It's a wonderful place to spend a beach vacation.

Beautiful area

The townhouse was immaculate and beautiful. While not really good for the elderly or for medically impaired, it would be excellent for younger folks. I have never stayed in a condo or rental that was so well stocked with anything you would ever need! I would recommend this place to anyone! The pool was very nice and everyone was friendly.

Great stay!

We absolutely loved the townhome! It was so clean and comfortable. It has a well-stocked kitchen...we cooked for most of our meals so it was nice to have everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, including the pull-out sofa. We enjoyed the bikes, as well as the beach chairs. It was just a short walk to the beautiful beach. The owners were so kind and helpful. We definitely want to visit again!

Home away from home

The property was spacious, well equipped, clean and well located. It was so helpful to have the storecupboard extras already supplied in the property. Impromptu trip to the beach

We usually rent homes on the beach but booked this condo at the last minute when a beachside condo was not available. Very clean condo. Well equipped kitchen. Short walk to the beach. The water is beautiful...clear, turquoise. Beautiful sunsets!

Wonderful Stay in Cape San Blas!

The property is beautiful and just the right size for our family of four using both rooms and the pull out sofa. Kevin was very helpful and responsive and check in was easy. Loved how close the townhouse was to both pools and the beach, and the wonderful view of the ocean from the second pool. The beach is gorgeous — flat powdery white sand, lovely breeze, super warm water, and big waves. We drove to PCB a few times but our fave other things to do were cycling and kayaking in the state park and horseback riding on the beach. We had lovely meals in Port St Joe’s (30 min drive) and Apalachicola (45 min drive), and enjoyed the donuts and ice cream on the Cape!

Cape San Blas Paradise!

The townhouse was amazing. It was incredibly clean and well appointed. The owners anticipated every need that one might have while visiting Cape San Blas. The beach was a quick walk down the sidewalk and it was simply gorgeous. We also spent two days at T.H. Stone Memorial St Joseph Peninsula State Park, which is located right around the corner; it too had outstanding beaches. The highlight of the trip was seeing an endangered Red Wolf at the St. Vincent's Preserve. Outstanding food at Provisions in Port St. Joe. We are hoping to go back next year as it was truly a fabulous experience and the home outstanding.

Much prefer communicating within VRBO system. Email from owner lengthy and complicated. Never did understand why keys were necessary on checkin but never used again and not necessary when checking out.

All was good excluding the shower liner. It was completely covered with mildew. I purchased a liner to go over so that I did not have to touch the one that was there. The condition of the shower liner was bad in both bathrooms. The two pools of the property were too small. Over crowded. Could not use. The beach was good.

We had a great week in CSB. The town house is impeccably clean, with some nice updates- but still feels beachy. The main floor was updated with nice wood-look tiles. You are right across from one of the pools, which was very clean and never crowded. Walk to the beach is less than 5 min. Beach wasn't crowded even in June, if you were willing to walk approx. 100 yards from Barrier Dunes. Beach was clean, and had calm, clear water, once Tropical Storm Colin cleared through. Tons of seashells! The house was well stocked with linens, plenty of towels, kitchen items, bikes and beach gear. The secondary bedroom is on the main floor and gets all the evening sun, and was very bright and hot for our little guy who goes to bed before sun down. Would be fine for older kids. We ended up putting our little one in the pack n play in the walk in closet upstairs. Worked perfectly. Master bedroom is huge. Beds and sofas could use some updating. My husband found the bed to be very uncomfortable, but I slept fine after long days in the sun. Grill was nice and we enjoyed the decks and the pond out back- tons of turtles. Outdoor shower was wonderful. Community was well kept and quiet. House would comfortably sleep a family of 4-5. Great for families with young kids. We'd love to be back!

Wonderful needed vacation

The property was very clean an organized when we arrived. A great location with only a 5 minute walk to the beach and a pool across the street. The beach is beautiful with no crowds and plenty of room to relax. This was a much needed break for us and a chance to unwind.

Wonderful stay!

We had a great time during our stay in Cape San Blas. The condo was clean, comfortable, and set in a very nice community with excellent amenities. We enjoyed the pond directly behind the condo, and were happy with the short walk to the beach and two pools.
