The small, thatched house is located directly by the sea, by the Heiligenhafen lighthouse, just outside the lively town centre of Heiligenhafen.
Heiligenhafen has developed into a real hot spot on the Baltic Sea in recent years. To name but a few: the kilometre-long fine sandy Baltic Sea beach and the immediately adjacent Graswarder nature reserve, which is populated by huge colonies of birds all year round, excellent kite-surfing areas, the adventure pier, the 5-star yacht and fishing harbour or the picturesque town centre of Heiligenhafen, which boasts a colourful mix of attractive shopping facilities, restaurants and cafés.

Surrounded by Switzerland and the South Seas, with unspoilt cliffs in between. These are, of course, Holstein Switzerland with its endless bright yellow rapeseed fields and inviting estate cafés for cyclists, hikers and other landlubbers; and the Danish South Sea in the Western Baltic, the purest paradise for genuine sandcastle builders and air mattress pirates, the Baltic Mecca for surfers and sailors, an Eldorado for mudflat fishermen and deep-sea anglers.

You can expect a 30 square metre sun terrace, largely secluded and equipped with loungers, from which you can enjoy a magnificent view of the sea, the Graswarder with its kilometre-long fine sandy beach and the well-known beach villas, the adjoining nature reserve and the view of the south/west of Fehmarn as far as the Fehmarn Sound. Watch the sailing boats and fishing boats enter and leave the harbour or admire the sailing manoeuvres of the weekly regatta. In the evening, immerse yourself in the colourful spectacle of the setting sun from your own beach chair, experience how hundreds of birds set off from the Graswarder nature reserve to their night quarters or simply ride your bike (I will be happy to provide you with two) to one of the restaurants at the harbour to order delicious freshly caught fish or perhaps you would rather go to the lounge on the beach to end the day with some chilled music?

In 2020/21, we completely rebuilt the old lighthouse keeper's cottage. It therefore meets all the needs and requirements of modern times and its people. The entire attic studio was converted into an exclusive open-plan flat. All furniture and furnishings have been selected with great love and care.

For your very special wedding celebration in a small group (up to 12 people), you are very welcome to book my favourite garden and the house (should it not be so sunny, contrary to expectations). We - the wedding speaker from the Baltic Sea, her crew and I - would be delighted. By prior arrangement, we will be happy to help you with any questions you may have about your very special day. A special arrangement for two (such as flower arrangements, breakfast service, etc.) can also be booked on request.
