This house is very well kept & clean. It is in the most perfect location & truly is in the heart of everything. The owner was very responsive and kind. Overall we had a wonderful trip for Christmas in cape may. We plan to return for the summer as well. Only “complaint” was the basement was very cold. It was fine for us since we didn’t have too many people where anyone really needed to sleep downstairs. But if you’re staying in the winter with a lot of people, just keep that in mind. But otherwise- it was a perfect home! Will certainly recommend!

Great Location!!!

House is located perfectly next to Washington Street Mall, Congress Hall and the beach! It was perfect for the family with lots of space and the outdoor shower came in handy after trips to the beach.

Spacious and excellent location

We had a great stay. There was plenty of room for 8 adults and we really appreciated the spacious common areas and kitchen. The host was very responsive and helpful. The house is in an excellent location and we were able to walk to restaurants, the grocery store, and the beach. Would stay here again.

Perfect Cape May beach house

Great house! Clean, spacious and close to everything - beach, the Washington St mall, restaurants! We parked the cars and walked everywhere for our weeklong stay. Highly recommend this property and would definitely return!

A great place to spend time with family

This house easily becomes a home away from home. It is spacious for 8 people, and well maintained. The location is perfect for walks to the beach, restaurants, Washington St Mall, and other Cape May landmarks. This was the second consecutive year our family spent here. It is perfect for us.

Perfect location

Excellent location and property. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 3 kids and we had plenty of space. Finished basement made it perfect for everyone’s own area. Loved the porch and watching everything Jackson St had to offer. Couldn’t have asked for a better location and home. Steve was excellent as well, answering any questions we had leading up to the trip. Would def stay there again.

Family reunion

The house was perfect for our stay! Very spacious. It was within walking distances to all the sites close by as well as the beach. I would suggest bringing extra paper towels n bath tissue if you are going to be there for at least 3 or more nights and depending on number in your party. Steve, house host is very responsive to all inquires. We would definitely stay there again 😎🌴

The BEST in Cape May

The pictures on VRBO do not do this home justice. It is large, spacious, and comfortable for our family of 5 (3 kids age 10, 13, and 15). We were able to relax and enjoy each other’s company, especially on the porch. Just steps away from shopping (and our favorite ice cream Peace Pie) AND a five minute walk to the beach. We cannot wait to return again next year!

Perfect Family Vacation

The size and location of this beautiful historic home was fabulous. We enjoyed our stay, especially the large kitchen and side porch. Steve was a great host and included 6 beach tags in the rental (last year we paid $20 each for them). There were two grills, a clothesline, beach chairs, umbrellas and toys at the home. Plus the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, flatware, glasses, mugs, cooking and baking needs. Location was perfect and couldn't be beat right in the center of Cape May! Looking forward to using the property again.

We rented this house for a week and never got in a car! It was so close to everything- the beach, the mall, restaurants, Everything! House is in great condition and we loved the side porch for people watching and a cocktail at the end of the day. It was suitable for our 4 year old son as well to have the back bedroom. We would come back for sure.

Great location. We have stayed on Jackson Street before and appreciate the location. The place is spacious. I do not think the photos are recent because there is a sitting room with a TV in the lower level that is not shown in the photos. Communication with the host was good. The fact that beach chairs and tags were included was amazing. There were just a few imperfections in the home.

Very close to shops and Beach!

We had a wonderful stay. Your home was very charming, clean and in a great location! If you enjoy shopping but not carrying items for very long. this is the home for you. Cape Mays beautiful beach is a five minute walk from this home. Washington street shops are a two minute walk. We had no idea there would be a side walk sale the weekend we stayed! Made several shopping bag drops, then shop for more goodies! Don’t miss The original Fudge Kitchen…the candies in this shop are amazing! Steve we had a great stay thank you!

Amazing property right in the heart of Cape May. The house itself is spectacular - spacious, super clean, nice furnishings & modern appliances, all the amenities you could want. It has really nice, spacious porches and a separate living room and dining room area too - It's a very roomy stay. The location puts you right next to places you'll want to be - steps from the Washington Mall, Cape May Boardwalk, the Convention Center, many Restaurants. It's also a very short ride up to Sunset Beach, Cape May Lighthouse, the Parks, Nature preserve, and Cold Springs village. What really puts it over the top though is the property's private driveway with 2 parking spaces. You can just leave the car(s) there, walk out the door, half-a-block down, and you're at the Washington Street mall, or go about a block-and-a-half in the other direction and you're on Beach Ave and the Boardwalk! Anyone who has driven down on the weekend and had to find/pay for parking knows why that's a big deal. Plus, the host Steve is super kind and helpful. This is our 2nd year in a row staying at this property and we'll definitely be coming back!
