This was the perfect property for our long weekend in Cape May. Was our second time staying and will definitely be back. Perfect for a couple or small group.
We had a wonderful week staying at this home last fall. It was the perfect location! We walked to shops and restaurants and took morning walks down by the beach. I highly recommend this property for your next getaway!
This bungalow has a great location in Cape May that is convenient to restaurants and area attractions. Would be easy to get around on bikes although we didn't do that on this trip. Nice quiet neighborhood. Dog friendly area as well. Very comfortable rental property.
This place was perfect for us. (6) adults and (1) 18 month old girl. Very cute neighborhood with a Marketplace and nice restaurant a short walk from house. Everything "Downtown"was about 1.5 - 2 miles away. Will definitely stay here again!
Our stay in Cape May could not have been better. We had a full house (6 adults, 2 toddlers and an infant) but had plenty of room with 4 comfortable bedrooms and 2 baths. Everything was clean, with a nice kitchen and living room area. The front porch was our favorite place to hang out. It’s in a great location. A beautiful quiet neighborhood within walking distance of everything. We walked to the beach with our whole crew, chairs, towels, etc. Not the easiest, but also not that bad. Lydia answered any questions I had promptly. We highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again when we get back to Cape May. Thank you!
We absolutely loved our stay at this rental!! Clean, nicely furnished, comfortable, cozy- I appreciated the new appliances, full size new washer and dryer , and the lovely front porch. Zero complaints. The neighborhood was quiet but friendly, and a nice walk to all that we love about Cape May. We have already requested to rent for next year. Extra bonus too is that it is pet friendly! Thanks Lydia!!!
This house is a great home. Lovely front porch. Quiet street but close to everything you would want access too. Home was very clean and spacious. There are some restaurants and shops in walking distance. We brought our bikes and easily rode to beaches (bay and ocean), Washington Mall area and the ocean front promenade, the winery and Beach Plum Farm. Highly recommended. (We used “linen ladies” for towels and sheets. It was a very easy process.)
This was a perfect place, for a much needed summer getaway with my family.. including our dog! A centrally located, picturesque bungalow stay. With beautiful gardens and quiet, little bunnies greeting us each morning! In a peaceful neighborhood, minutes from the beach or the heart of town. One of the best things we did during our trip - for sure, was renting bikes from Cape Island Rental! They conveniently delivered and picked up bikes to and from the property at no extra charge. Reasonably priced for the week! Our car stayed in the driveway for most of the week and the bikes were our main source of transportation. Otherwise, this little house had everything we needed! Clean and cozy! A perfect Cape May getaway!
We were very impressed at how clean the house was when we arrived. My husband and I, along with our adult son and dogs rent in Cape May every summer. There have been many a time that we have had to clean ourselves upon arrival in order to feel comfortable. This was not the case here. It was immaculate. The two king bedrooms and 2 baths were perfect for us. It would be great for bigger families as well. The ease of a ranch house with minimal stairs was also a bonus for taking our dogs out quickly. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated and nice, as well as the washer and dryer which came in handy. We love the West Cape May location, as it is close to the action but still on a quiet street. We walked to our favorite restaurant, Panico's twice during our stay. The only thing that we wished was better was the Wi-Fi. It was extremely slow, which was frustrating at times. If you plan on unplugging during your stay, then maybe this won't be an issue for you. Overall, we had a great week and enjoyed our stay.
We just returned from a wonderful vacation at 210 Fifth Ave in West Cape May. Early June is delightfully free of crowds, though the brisk ocean temps make for short swims.
The house is perfectly located. It's a five minute bike ride or 10-15 minute walk to the beach, town, the wildlife preserve and just about anything you'd want to visit. It has a nice comfy vibe with almost everything you need for a great time.
Thanks to the window fans we never needed the a/c until the Canadian wildfire smoke arrived on Wednesday afternoon. The clothes line in the backyard was a bonus and we enjoyed several dinners on the patio.
The porch is a great spot to read, sip morning coffee, unwind with an afternoon cocktail, or just enjoy the lush landscaping and listen to the birds. The addition of a ceiling fan would make it perfect.
The kitchen is well laid out but could use more than one frying pay, fortunately we brought several with us. And a few more forks would also be nice. We had to hand wash them throughout the day and between the main course and dessert the evening we had dinner guests.
Overall it was a lovely home and we had a great time. We would happily return next year.
This property is in a great location in West Cape May. Porch and gardens were beautiful. This location is fantastic for being close to all that Cape May has to offer. We had a great time.
Could not have been better….Great spot for walking to town for coffee and amazing restaurants with the beach being close by as well. We enjoyed the quiet street for relaxing on front porch.
The location of this home is amazing, the front porch is wonderful, it’s roomier than it looks from the outside and the owners are responsive. It’s hard to find pet friendly lodgings in Cape May so we were pleased to rent this one.
The unit is as pictured although some of the furnishings could stand to be updated and/or fixed (broken towel rack in main bathroom, nicks in the paint on the walls, dresser drawers that don’t open and close well). The AC doesn’t do a great job cooling the back bedrooms so it got hot overnight when following owners’ instructions to keep temperature above 73.
This house was perfect for our stay. Beautifully landscaped and welcoming front porch, where we had coffee each morning.
Can’t wait to stay here again!
We had a great week at this property. It is “around the corner” from a lot of things to do, while the block itself is quiet and just far enough removed to be able to relax comfortably. We would definitely stay here again.
