About this property

Beautiful 3 bedroom cottage with big fenced in backyard. Great location to town.

Our house (519 Bank St.) is wonderfully located 2 blocks from Washington Commons and 5 blocks from the beach overlooking the Atlantic. We are in a quiet neighborhood. The house is clean and well maintained, perfectly suited for your family vacation.
The Master suite, just renovated in 2019,(queen bed) in back of the house has a full bath (also renovated in 2019) and private entrance. The door leads out to a morning sun deck. The outdoor dining set and BBQ were purchased in 2020. The deck (redone in 2024)also leads directly to the kitchen. The kitchen was gutted and rebuilt in 2025. You can enjoy that morning cup of coffee as the kids sleep. The deck looks out over a large grassy backyard with a huge shade tree, great for an afternoon nap.
The middle room has 3 twin beds total. 2 beds and a trundle bed that is fantastic for siblings or their friends. Cable TV and WIFI in all 3 bedrooms.
The front bedroom is another queen bed that has charm and easy access to main bath and fully equipped kitchen. House has central A/C. There is a private driveway can fit 2 cars.
The main bathroom was completely renovated in 2017 with tile, flooring and new bath. In 2023 we added a brand new washer and dryer. Linens/towels are not provided.
You will love the easy access to town/beach with all it's great restaurants and Victorian houses. Dogs are considered as long as they are well behaved and a certain weight. There is a pet fee of $250 due at time of booking. Dogs love hanging out in the fenced in backyard.
The private driveway has room for 2 cars.

Such a great little house! Perfect location. Quiet but close walking distance to everything. House was immaculate. Great comfortable beds. I like bringing my own sheets and towels so that’s never an issue for us. Great to have a fully fenced yard for our four legged child. We’d definitely rent again. Kevin was very attentive even checking in on us with a text after we got settled.

Easy living cottage! Family and our dog stayed here for 2 weeks. Perfect location to enjoy all of Cape May. We hardly moved the car as the grocery store, beaches and Washington St Mall were a short walk away. The house is well appointed for cooking, grilling, laundry and storing our stuff. The dog loved the yard and lying on the deck dreaming of catching a squirrel. The house owner checked in with us, answered questions right away and was just so very nice. We will be renting here again for sure.

Lovey cottage with a spacious yard.

My family really enjoyed staying here. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. It was surprisingly spacious with a nicely sized back yard for our dog. The check in process was easy and the owner was helpful and friendly. He was quick to answer questions and provided important reminders. It was a few minutes walk to the Washington Mall and the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location!

We have stayed here twice now, as a family with small child and dog. The location is great, walkable to downtown and the beach. The fenced in yard is perfect for letting our son and dog run around. The house is a good size for us as well.

Blissful Week!

The cottage was completely charming and comfortable, and the back yard was spectacular! Cap that off with an absolutely perfect location and you have everything you need for a wonderful week. Even though the space is not huge, it easily accomodated 6 adults. We loved it and would stay here again for sure.

Adorable cottage on a quiet street and walking distance to the mall, beach & many great restaurants. Property was spotless. Communication with the owner was great - answered all our questions before hand & let us know as soon as the property was ready for us. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you could need. Brand new appliances including fridge with icemaker. Stacking / washer dryer also new. Beautiful deck with table/chairs/umbrella and a Weber grill. Fenced in yard for our dog. Great stay - would highly recommend!

Cute cottage in great location

We loved our stay. Terrific location. Can walk to everything in town, including the beach. Short car ride to wineries and bay side. Fully fenced in back yard with new deck. Perfect for our pup. The host, Kevin, was great. Very communicative.

Great stay in Cape May

This was a great spot in cape may for my husband and I + our dog. The backyard is shaded by trees during the day which was great during the summer. The property is located close to everything, and is bigger than you’d think from the outside. Everything was in order when we arrived, and we had no issues

A Very Cozy Cottage

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this location. Easily one of our favorite features was the 2 minute walking distance into town. Super convenient! Property Manager was very kind. The rooms were lovely, and the property itself was quite lovely! All in all, we would definitely recommend to any family looking for a place in Cape May!

It is a very comfortable house with a great yard. 2 bathrooms is such a plus with multiple adults staying. The additional entrance from the back bedroom to the deck was helpful since we had a 5 month old who was awake way before most of us!

Why they chose this property

This was a Coast Guard cottage that was moved to Bank St. when the base changed over. Additional bedroom was finished in the 90's and upgraded in 2019. We love the great location to Historic Cape May and it's fantastic restaurants.

What makes this property unique

The beaches are the best! We vacation in our house every year. Our kids love the place and the town. And the food....amazing. Walking distance to downtown and the beach.
