We hope that you would find it most appealing as our prior guests have. Very recently the home has undergone a complete renovation from top to bottom. New gourmet kitchen complete with high-end stainless steel appliances, professional gas range, pot-filler, spice and cutlery drawers, 'Black-Pearl' granite counter-tops. Four-person center island seating. Eight-foot dining table seats 8 comfortably.

Enjoy the convenience to Edgartown at this in-town location just a minute from town. Enjoy four comfortable bedrooms (sleeping 8), 3 1/2 tiled baths, (marble/slate/ceramic flooring) large living/common areas and a private, outside patio. It is a tastefully furnished, spacious, 2,600 sq. ft. home with two floors and a full, finished basement with laundry facility.

It is the quintessential home for the perfect group or family get-away!

Special features: Wireless High-Speed Internet (with terrific signal from everywhere in the house) New, oak, hardwood flooring throughout. BBQ gas grille and over-sized outdoor shower.

Location: Beautiful Martha’s Vineyard Island is located just seven miles from shore off the coast of Massachusetts. The “Contemporary Cape-House” is less than 1/2 mile from Edgartown town center, conveniently located to all of the Islands many treasures.

Some exciting things to do on Martha’s Vineyard in September — summer till the 22nd! More beach BBQs, clambakes, lobster rolls, fishing (don’t miss the MV Striped Bass & Bluefish Derby) and Alpaca Yoga! But there’s more … more deserted windswept beaches, conservation/cycling paths with blushing foliage. Autumn fare at island-wide eateries means culinary excitement after you’re off your kayak or SUP, or when you’re done sunbathing or contemplating life while surveying passing ferries. Shops, galleries, fairs, farm markets await discovery. Hotels, inns throw open wide-welcoming doors. MVY in September, still summer — but a whole lot more!

Wonderful stay in Edgartown

This house was perfect for our 5 day stay. Our two families (4 adults, 4 kids) were very comfortable. The huge kitchen table and private backyard were ideal. Beautiful renovated home in a great location to explore the Island. We hope to book it again next year!!

A much needed getaway!

This house is absolutely beautiful, the pictures are accurate. The house was very clean and had everything needed to enjoy your stay. The host was very kind and she invited us to Yoga with Alpacas. The house is conveniently located to Edgartown center. We traveled the island and then retreated to the comfort of this home.

The house was great and worked out perfectly for our large family. The pool table and video games were a big hit with the kids. Having bedrooms on each of the 3 floors made it very accessible for all ages (even our 89 year old grandma). Highly recommended for larger groups.

We truly enjoyed our time on the island, and especially in the house. We had a group of 10 down for a wedding, and the house couldn't have been a better fit. Walking distance to the church in downtown Edgartown, and set back in a quiet area. I would recommend the place to anyone looking to house a large group.

Beautiful house

The house is gorgeous. Recently renovated and very clean and inviting. Big, beautiful kitchen (we cooked quite a bit) and lovely bedrooms with three bathrooms. The house is centrally located in Edgartown—a quick walk into town—so it was great to not have to drive everywhere. Barbara was also wonderful. She checked in to make sure everything was to our liking and it was great to visit her alpaca farm as well! Can’t recommend this property highly enough. It was a very peaceful, relaxing vacation.

Fantastic Vineyard Cottage

Recently completed renovations to this beautiful cottage home made our week in Martha's Vineyard a pleasure. It has an open concept chef's kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The home is warm, cozy and roomy. Excellent location with an easy less than 1 mile walk to downtown Edgartown. Fine dining within steps from this home and a full service grocery store and liquor store across the street. It sits on a quiet side street and has a beautiful patio and yard perfect for outdoor barbecues. A hidden gem. Hope to be back soon.

We filled your house with love, laughter and fun. There was always a game going a the big table whenever we weren't out exploring the island. It was a great gathering place for board games, and card anytime of day for whoever wanted to play. Thanks for going the "extra mile" to make us comfortable. I am the owner, founder of Island Alpaca Co. I hope you can visit my farm while visiting the island this summer. Fun for all ages!

Island Alpaca Company of Martha's Vineyard began in 2004 with the purchase of 19 acres of land and an antique post-and-beam barn that once stood in Export PA. Over the next two years, the barn was assembled, pastures were cleared, and fencing installed. The original purchase of eight alpacas in 2004 had grown to a starter herd of 31, which moved into the barn in 2006. Today, Island Alpaca has a select herd of over 50 colorful Huacaya alpaca.
