Cozy 2nd floor corner unit condo for rent at Akiskinook on Windermere Lake. Corner unit has lots of natural light, high vaulted ceilings and extra main floor space. (Not many corner units available for rent at the resort). This condo features a master bedroom with King sized bed on the main floor with an open concept loft on the second floor, featuring two separate sleeping areas. One with a double and single bunk bed, the other having a queen bed.

This condo is perfect for families or groups looking for a great Summer or Winter getaway. Looking to golf, our place is close to many golf courses. The condo is also great for families with small children as it has many baby/small child accessories, ex: play pen, high chair, baby gates, toys.

Wifi and TV's are provided.
Kitchen is fully stocked and there is a BBQ on the patio.

The property has great access to the private beach and includes many amenities. Amenities included are: a recreation centre which contains a NEWLY RENOVATED POOL & HOT TUB (Feb 2023) with lake views, a games room, fitness equipment/squash court and TV and computer area. There is also a playground and a tennis court on site.

There is a private beach/marina which is great for Summer or Winter, there are bathroom facilities at the beach! In the winter months a skating rink takes over the place of the marina and many Winter Sports can be enjoyed. Enjoy skating or cross country skiing with great quick access to the Whiteway path which goes along the entire lake. Panorama ski hill is a 25 min drive from the condo and Fairmont ski hill is a 20 min drive. The radium and Fairmont hot springs are also a short drive from the condo.

The town of Invermere has some great local shops and restaurants and will not disappoint.

Perfect getaway

This was such a a cute property in a private beach community. The house was full stocked and awesome for 4 adults, although it could easily sleep 6. The host was awesome to communicate with a check in and out was super smooth. FYI, the beach is not far from the property but down a steep hill. The private pool, hot tub, and pickle ball courts were awesome. I highly recommend this place.

Amazing condo just the right size for our family of 6. Well stocked and taken care of condo had everything we needed for a great getaway. Beautiful resort, pool area, and the kids really enjoyed the games room. Highly recommended.

Short and Sweet

We booked for just 3 nights for a quick break from our day to day. We were a little disappointed that the pool and hot tub were closed for 1.5 of our days. The rec centre was a key factor in choosing this location. They advertised a new pool and hot tub and we really did think that would mean it would be open during our stay. The beach and resort are extremely well cared for and the people are lovely. The unit is charming enough but the kitchen, bathrooms and AC need to be updated. For the price it is a great deal.

Great marina and beach area and great parking st those facilities This property is unique in that regard The property is very quiet overall and scenic The buildings are old and dated interiors but the amenities are terrific We knew the buildings were not 5 star when we booked Thus is a terrific place to spend some time in as wonderful area of British Columbia We will return and rebook the unit we were in for sure

Good value

We enjoyed our family vacation in Akiskinook and really loved the location of this unit within the complex. It was clean when we arrived and that was very important to us. It was extremely hot while we were there, and there was an air conditioner which helped, however it dripped large amounts of water when it was in use. The bucket needed to be emptied. Unfortunately because of the placement of the a/c, the upper bdrms marginally benefited and remained very hot. Having said that, any a/c was welcomed. The toilets continued to run if you didn't flush them just right, which was a bit annoying and the fan in the main living area was inoperable which would have cooled the unit tremendously. Despite these things, the unit provides good value during the expensive summer months and Akiskinook is a lovely place to stay with your family.

Great family getaway location

Lovely home!

Lovely home steps to the private beach. A little playground down the hill. The home itself was spacious with all that you need to cook. Child and baby friendly, with baby gates, high chair, and toys. We loved our stay.

Great place for relaxing

Our family stayed here a couple of days to relax and the place gave exactly that. The beach is close by so we could walk there any time and it wasn't a big decision to make with our kids to drive somewhere. The place has some games which kept our 3 year old busy.

Lovely location.

My husband and I and our yellow Labrador Finn, really enjoyed our stay here. It was located in a very quiet part of the resort which was a short walk down to the part of the beach where our dog could swim. The unit itself was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Great place for a family getaway

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property for our summer getaway. Very well located within the Akiskinook resort with close access to the beach. Property is as described in the listing, Anna was very responsive and great to work with in all communications. Would definitely stay here again with our family.

Lovely place with comfortable couches and beds. Pleasantly surprised with a Keurig machine too. Owners are super friendly and quick to reply. There were lots of rocks at the beach, but it didn’t bother our kids.

Great summer stay

We very much enjoyed this location. The short walk to beach was nice and the beach and swimming area were fantastic. We spent half of the day there every day. Great lake, lots of space and always easy to find a good space to hang out. We also enjoyed the tennis and pickleball courts for a morning game most days. We'd definitely come back another time!

Great Family Vacation

We had a great family summer vacation at Akiskinook. We all enjoyed the condo which was located in an ideal spot in the community. Annadelle was really responsive and helpful in getting us set up and quick to respond to any questions. We are already talking about when we will go back.

Perfect winter getaway

This place is very warm and cozy. The property was very clean and Anna (our hostess) provided us with great instructions to check in that were very easy to follow. The resort is great for kids, we skated in the ice rink. Location is great very close to Invermere.

Cozy lake getaway

We rented this condo for a 10 day family trip . The condo is well described in the listing with excellent layout for adults and children mixing together for both together and some chill time !! The relaxing balcony and view was much appreciated during morning coffee or later day cocktail time :) Fully stocked kitchen was perfect for family meals and the cable/wifi was well used and has great reception!! The resort grounds were well manicured and cared for , the private beach was amazing and private marina a wonderful extra for our own boat use during the stay also !!! Highly recommended for couples or families !!! Hidden gem in the area ...

Wonderful Family getaway!

I was very impressed with the home and the resort in general. We loved the private beach; we didnt have to worry about "getting to the beach early for the best spot". We have great memories and we will be back!

Great private resort beside Lake Windermere, BC

Comfortable 2-story end unit at impressive resort. Master bedroom on main floor, 2nd floor has two more bedrooms, with "open concept" throughout. Two bathrooms, good-sized kitchen, and deck overlooking grassy area. Close to the beach, can walk (2-3 minutes) or drive (1 minute) down the short hill. Common building is okay; unfortunately the indoor pool is closed for now. However, if the weather is fine you go to the lake. If the weather is less than ideal...Fairmont and Radium Hot Springs are both 20 minutes away. Take your pick! Very clean throughout. Owner was easy to communicate with. I would recommend this resort and this unit.

Akiskinook family vacation

This was a great overall experience. The condo is perfect for a family. Lots of space for everyone. Great to have two full bathrooms. Everything in the kitchen that you need to cook or bbq. It is only a short walk to the private beach and marina. The maintenance people at Akiskinook keep the entire gated community in great shape. Check in/check out and communication with owner was super easy and efficient. We hope to be back in the future.
