The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Bag all trash and put in containers next to front porch - any unbagged trash will not be removed and fees will be deducted from deposit
Remove sheets from all used beds and put on floor in same room.
Remove all extra food in fridge and cupboards - any food left that needs removed by cleaners will be an extra fee deducted from deposit.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Coolers must be kept on front porch, decks or dock. No coolers allowed inside, due to possible leaks and floor damage.
Any furniture moved may result in extra fees.
Dishes must remain in same kitchen found - moving items between kitchens may result in extra fees.

Property is just as it looks in pictures and exceeded our expectations. Location is fantastic as it is located near jumping bridge but in a cove where you don't have to worry about boats flying by while you're in the water. The host was absolutely fantastic. We had issues with our boat and she went above and beyond trying to help us have the best trip by suggesting rentals and things to do without a boat. Would love to go back again!

Family Thanksgiving

This was the perfect 'home away from home' setting for family members coming from several states around the country. Two kitchens stocked with every cooking and baking tool possibly needed, plenty of seating space to eat together, and a great layout to have adequate quiet time or family time.

Krista was a great host! She allowed early check in and late check out which was so helpful to our large group! She was easy to get ahold of the whole weekend and helped with questions. Will definitely attempt to rebook next year for our trip.

Great for large parties

The 2 kitchens and plenty of cookware including a griddle was great for large parties. Place was very clean. A paddle was missing for the the kayaks but everything else seemed to be in order.

Family friendly, beautiful, spacious lakeside stay

We had a party of 18, 11 of them being children. We had plenty of room to hang out and sleep. The dock was beautiful both morning and daytime and the kayak usage was greatly appreciated. The kitchens are stocked and well equipped to fix any meal. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone with a large party.

We had an amazing time!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and just as described. Our large extended family, ranging in age from 3-80, had a great time being together. The owner made sure everything was ok and the property manager ensured everything was in working order. Nephews wanted the Xbox fixed and she sent someone to fix it even though the parents said it wasn’t necessary. I highly recommend this property.

Amazing

Having visited Norris Lake once before, we had an idea of what we were looking for on our next trip. This house fit the bill for 23 family members to enjoy the sun and lake for a week. Lots of bedrooms/bathrooms, and the kitchens were very well appointed with all that you need. The dock with the raised deck was great fun for all. Boating is a short troll in the no wake zone out to the main lake. We are looking forward to booking again!

We have enjoyed Norris Lake with our family and friends for many, many years. We decided to purchase a home so that we could enjoy even more time at the lake, and more time with family. Whether we're relaxing on the dock watching the kids play, or enjoying a hard ski or tube ride, it's always a fun time at Norris.

Why they chose this property

LaFollette was our choice for the easy-to-drive roads and the convenience to grocery and retail stores and marinas. We also like the private ramp that Lakeside Estates offers, and the large, quiet cove and year-round water.

What makes this property unique

The Great Escape has plenty of room for multiple families, with 9 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 2 full kitchens, 2 dining areas, and 3 decks with plenty of seating. The kids can also enjoy the game room while the adults enjoy the hot tub. It's a short walk down to the lake - and the 2-story dock provides plenty of room with parking for 3 boats, and a top story seating area with tables and chairs. The kids will also enjoy the slide!

Our home is well maintained, in a prime area close to the jumping bridge and ski zone, with a large, private clean cove. The perfect spot for your family vacation.
