Gîte "au pas de l'âne" – Stay in the Heart of the Pilat Regional Park

Just 15 minutes from Saint-Étienne and 1 hour from Lyon, near the VIA FLUVIA and the Nordic areas of Bessat and Saint-Régis-du-Coin.



Located in the heart of the Pilat Regional Natural Park, at the foot of Mont Chaussître, facing the Plats reservoir (26 hectares, fishing allowed 100 meters from the gîte). Reach the village center on foot or by bike via a botanical trail (1.5 km from the gîte).



In both summer and winter, come share our love for old stone buildings and our mill, meet our donkeys, and explore the beautiful nature of the plateau, homeland of Jules Verne’s ancestors.



The 55 m² apartment is on the owner’s upper floor, with a private entrance, 2 double bedrooms, bike storage, and a garage for 2 vehicles within a gated property.



Nearby: fishing, lakeside walks, mountain biking, sled dog hikes, Saint-Régis-du-Coin trail center, and the Planfoy Via Ferrata climbing site.



Electricity, heating, water, and end-of-stay cleaning are included. Fireplace use is possible with owner’s permission; it is for occasional fires only, not as a main heating source.



Bed linen and towels can be rented on request for an extra charge.
