About the host
Hosted by James Latyszewski

I was born and raised in Michigan. When I was young I traveled to Yosemite, California and was blown away by the mountains, waterfalls and wildlife. Ever since, I have spent all of my summers near national parks like Yosemite, Yellowstone, Glacier, Arches, Acadia and Mesa Verde. In the wintertime I enjoy living in exotic tropical locations.
Why they chose this property
This property has an amazing view of the mountains and is centrally located to all four east side entrances into Glacier National Park. It is also conveniently located between St. Mary, Browning and East Glacier. Out of all the places I've lived and visited, this is the most tranquil, peaceful and relaxing.
What makes this property unique
Some benefits for staying here are:
You will not hear cars on the road or trains passing nearby, like in town.
You will hear great horned owls, frogs and coyote.
You will not smell trash and see roaming dogs like in town.
You will smell fresh, clean air and possibly see one of the friendly neighbors.
You will not see buildings or many people, just nature. You will have your own private area.
You will constantly have an ever changing 360 degree panoramic view of the horizon. The clouds and colorful skies are astounding with the mountains in view, especially during sunrise and sunset. The nights are particularly peaceful and unique with the cloud-like Milky Way overhead and minimal light pollution.
Any night you can watch shooting stars and occasionally see the Aurora Borealis.
Moose, deer, rabbits, pine martens and squirrels are commonly seen in the yard. Once in a while you'll see bears, wolves and mountain lions.
It is a fantastic place to bird watch. Eagles, hawks, osprey, great horned owls, swallows, mountain blue birds and humming birds are frequently seen.
There is great drinking water from a 150' deep well that is feed by an aquifer straight out of Glacier National Park.
