About this property
East Side of Glacier Park is our back yard!! Have a look.
Thanks for looking at Railroad Creek Lodging's H4 House while planning your trip to Glacier. The H4 House is available June 1 through September.
The H4 House features three bedrooms upstairs. One has a queen bed and a single, while the Master Bedroom has a queen bed. Adjacent to the Master Bedroom and separated by a curtained doorway, is a small bedroom with another queen bed. Our fourth bedroom is downstairs and has a queen bed. All of the bedrooms have great views that provide a peaceful end to your day and brighten the start of the next one. Upstairs you will find a full bath with laundry facilities while the downstairs has a bathroom with shower and sauna.
Sit in the cedar and brick living room with your morning coffee and view Lubeck Ridge, Calf Robe Mountain, Firebrand Pass and the occasional deer, moose, coyotes, elk and bear that make the area their home. Expansive south and west facing windows give incredible views that make our part of the state such a special place. A fully equipped kitchen lets you plan meals at home or dine out at one of the local restaurants. Everything down to the salt and pepper shakers is here for you, but if you have a special request, let us know and we'll work on it.
The deck on the west and north sides of the house offers great views and deck chairs are there for your comfort. A gas barbecue and picnic table are also located on the deck for your cooking and outdoor dining use.
Hiking is available as close as the back door, with many other opportunities in the area. Two Medicine Lake area provides numerous hiking trails and a tour boat operates on the lake also. Firebrand Pass is just up the road and is a great hike.
We are located three miles west of East Glacier on Highway 2. Close enough to town, but removed enough to let you see sunsets, stars, northern lights and nature at its best just outside the door. Fluctuating temperatures, windy weather and long daylight hours are part of summer here in East Glacier, so be prepared for whatever Mother Nature has to offer during your stay.
COME AND ENJOY OUR PART OF THE BIG SKY COUNTRY!!!

Wonderful location for exploring GNP. House was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well supplied and shower water was hot! We appreciated the delicious brownies and bear spray demonstration. Would highly recommend this VRBO!
Amazing property with outstanding views of the mountains. Loved the location and the house was perfect for our group. Vicki and Chuck were great to work with and very attentive.
This was a marvelous home base for our family's visit to Glacier National Park. The east side of the park, including this property, is beautiful and the stars in the night sky are amazing. Chuck and Vicki are thoughtful and the home is comfortable and well stocked. We hope to stay here again.
We loved our stay! The house was perfect sized and well kept. Chuck and Vicki were very hospitable. We were so close to the national park and were very thankful for the bear spray and bug spray that was provided. The hosts were very knowledgeable of the area and had great recommendations. Highly recommend this place!
We had an amazing stay, at a beautiful home. We arrived late the first night and as we walked in, the house was perfect! Chuck and Vicki checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. Chuck and Vicki were very accommodating and very friendly. We absolutely loved staying at their home. It was a perfect location near Glacier National Park. The property was also beautiful, we could see the mountains from the home. I would highly recommend staying here!
We had a truly wonderful stay at this property. The location is ideal—just a short drive to East Glacier and the stunning Two Medicine area, making it a perfect base for exploring the park. The home itself was incredibly comfortable and cozy, offering a warm and relaxing atmosphere after long days of hiking and sightseeing. The hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend this stay to others and would be delighted to return in the future.
Chuck and Vicki have a wonderful place to call home while visiting Glacier National Park. We really enjoyed our stay. We loved all the windows! The views were so relaxing and beautiful! It was lovely having the owners in the house next door when we had a question. This is such a great location with proximity to beautiful places in the park--and no timed entry on the East side of the park. One set of grandparents, one set of parents, and two teenagers--AND WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME!
We loved staying here. Chuck and Vicky were great hosts and always available when we had questions. They definitely have thought of everything. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!
Clean, beautiful home. Loved the hike around the property. Owners very responsive and friendly, also had good recommendations for food. Love the east side of Glacier - especially seeing the moose and bear.
Nice house with great outdoor space. Hosts were kind and attentive. Comfortable beds, showers with great water pressure, and outfitted kitchen. Only thing to note for renters is that some bedrooms are adjoining with "blanket" doors between. It was fine for us but some may want more privacy.
We came to visit Glacier National Park. The home was perfect! It had beautiful views and was very spacious for our party of 9. The owners are very sweet and courteous. We would definitely recommend this listing to others.
I had a great time with my family. Chuck and Vicki were very friendly and accommodating. Even had fresh baked brownies waiting for us on arrival. Would stay again.

Thanks for taking the time to review your stay with us. Glad the place worked for you. Have a great rest of your summer.
The view of the mountains from the house is nice. The owners were very helpful. We needed to go to the immediate care and we were advised where to go. We left behind a computer charger and promptly received it in the mail. The welcome brownies were a nice touch. We enjoyed the sauna after a day of hiking.
Very nice hosts. House was great. Very cute interior. Location nice. Beautiful location to look at night time skies. Stars were incredible. Saw the Milky Way.

We are pleased to offer our guests a quiet well equipped house outside of town to relax in at the end of a day exploring Glacier Country. Why they chose this property
We like living in the country and being able to enjoy life without the distractions of town. Our house is very close to nature and lets you experience it at whatever level you wish.
What makes this property unique
We designed the house to be energy efficient in both winter and summer and to also have great views out all of our windows. We experience all the many weather types and wildlife that make this such a unique place to live. Our view is essentially unchanged over the last 30 years and we love being out here in such a natural setting.
