Two people sharing have found this cottage perfect since it is near most major San Diego and La Jolla hospitals (UCSD Thornton, USCD Jacobs, Rady Children's, Mercy, Kaiser, VA) and super close to San Diego Navy and Miitary bases. Getting around is easy: bus stops are a few minutes walk, use UBER or Lyft, parking for your car on property or ride a bike. Attention professors, military, business people, snowbirds, students and work-from-home virtual office: near UCSD, USD, SDSU. Near San Diego Airport, and all military bases.

2 bedroom, 1 bath beach cottage, parking, shared laundry. Kitchen, bath, and tile floors throughout entire cottage. Ceiling fans in each room. BATHROOM features oversize glass shower doors, mirrored wall cabinets, custom tile. AC in living room.

Parking is one reserved driveway parking space, included in rate. Second parking space and or garage may be available for extra cost. Private backyard with two big lounge chairs AND bistro table with 2 chairs, and direct access to laundry area. Private and locked north walkway features a long and narrow space to store your surfboard, bikes, SUP or kayak.

TWO BEDROOMS, one with a queen size bed and one with a full size bed, dresser, dual-pane windows and blackout shades for a sound sleep for those people who work nights and need daytime sleep. Remote control ceiling fans in each room. The living room, complete with a 50 inch TV, overlooks a large green grass front yard. Imagine stretching out on the sofa or love seat and enjoying the warmth of the afternoon sun and then staying to watch sunset!

Perfect!

We love Kelly Ann's beach house! The place is incredibly clean and updated, with super cute decor! It is extremely close to the beach, just a quick walk or bike ride. It is also walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and shops. Parking spots are right behind the house, which is convenient! Great outdoor space with a backyard and a front yard! We are so happy we found Kelly Ann's beach house to stay at!

Love this place!

I love this place! I stayed here while on a travel nursing assignment for 3 months. It’s in the perfect location- walking distance to the beach, bay, and bars. The house is clean and updated. Kelly Ann is incredibly personable and very quick to respond to any questions or issues that might pop up. If I ever come back to San Diego, I will 100% try to rent from Kelly Ann again.

Beautiful Beach Rental

Kelly Ann keeps this rental in tip top shape. She is so quick to respond to any questions you may have and takes care of any issues immediately. The space is so open and airy you really are living the beach life. Not to mention the very short walk to the water whether it be Mission Bay or Pacific Beach. There’s always a good breeze and fans throughout so we don’t even miss the AC. The house is well stocked with anything you may need and there’s tons of extra storage in the garage. My roommate and I could not be happier with the time we’ve spent here and are excited for the fun we’ll have over the rest of our stay.

Absolutely perfect hidden beach gem!

Kelly Ann’s property is absolutely perfect. The unit itself is not only fully furnished but has everything you could need. From linen to a fully stocked kitchen, not mention adorably decorated. There is front yard area as well as a private back yard the has a grill and perfect place to hang out. The property itself in the most ideal location. Being only about 3 blocks to the beach as well as 3 blocks to the bay. The property is also located within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Kelly Ann is incredibly accommodating and sweet and easily available to contact. I feel like I found a hidden gem with this stay and would highly recommend it!

Fantastic rental; sad to leave!

I have rented this unit for almost a year. Due to work, I am sad to say that I cannot extend my lease. This cottage has felt like home and I will greatly miss it! The landlord is friendly, prompt, and great to work with. She is accommodating to my particular work requirements and strives to make her tenants happy. The unit is in fantastic condition and is stocked with everything you would ever need, and more (wine glass markers, yes please!). The front and back yards make for great gathering areas or private escapes to read and catch some sun. This is a place you don't want to miss! Thank you so much for the great memories and experience.

A rental that's better than home

This beach cottage has been the perfect rental for the last few months. The location and amenities alone make it a no-brainer. The landlord is so easy and pleasant to work with; she completely eliminates the hassle of finding a rental. Her attention to detail is impeccable and she has thought of every need. From beach towels & chairs, to a crockpot, blender, mixer, toaster, etc. to comfortable bedding and fully-stocked cleaning supplies, this cottage comes with more than I have at home. Not only does the landlord provide everything you need to feel at home, the high quality kitchen is well-matched by a comfortable living space and bedrooms. The décor is fun and beachy - perfect for its short 5 minute walk to the beach. I've had friends visit for long weekends, 8-person dinner parties, and my parents stay for a whole week (yipes!)…and the cottage was perfect! I love that the front and backyard are fully secure with locking fences - it allows me to keep my doors open and feel safe when I'm home alone. The backyard is a private escape to sit out with a good book underneath the palms or to enjoy an evening glass of wine while we grill dinner. This is such a great rental; thank you!

Great Beach Stay!

It has been an absolute pleasure staying at this lovely beach cottage! My friend and I are both traveling healthcare professionals and really lucked out when we met Kelly Ann. This rental has everything you could ever want and need which immediately made us feel at home during our months here. We were so close to everything- the beach, the bay, shopping, grocery store, and restaurants! It is really hard to find rentals in the area that have outdoor space which I found to be one of the most charming things about this space. The off street parking is also a huge bonus, but street parking for guests is always possible within a block. Kelly Ann is so hospitable and if we ever had a question and/or concern she was always immediately there to lend a helping hand. If we are ever back in the area, we would stay here again without hesitation!

Great place!

My friend and I are travel nurses and are currently renting from Kelly Ann for the summer. This is a great place to stay, very suitable for young professionals. The cottage is very cozy and Kelly Ann decorated it so charmingly. We are very comfortable and it feels like a home! We love that it is just a few short blocks from the beach and the bay, and very walkable to all of the fun restaurants/bars. Kelly Ann is a great hostess. She is very attentive, professional, and very pleasant to work with. The property is very well-managed and we highly recommend it!!

Awesome beach cottage!

Kelly Ann is a fabulous host. She was always accessible whenever we needed anything. They place is cozy, comfortable and adorable! Very clean and kept up very well. The house has anything you could absolutely need.Its in a great neighborhood, close to the beach and the bay. Great cottage with everything you need!

French couple with a cat. We stayed 1.5 month. The cottage was very clean and very well maintained with a cosy private back-yard. The cottage is located in a lively and attractive neighborhood from 5 min walk from the beach. The host, Kelly-Ann is very nice and very-well accommodating.

I"m a traveling radiation therapist. I have traveled for 12.5 years and this is by far the best place I have ever stayed! It is stocked with everything you could possibly want or need! It is incredibly clean and comfortable. It's very close to the ocean and bay. It has a garage and off street parking. Both bedrooms have tons of closet space and a dresser in each. The owner even has chairs that can be taken to the beach. When dealing with the owner, she could not be more helpful. Very approachable and personable. If I am ever brought back to the San Diego area, I will request to be put back here, if it's available!

Nice and cosy cottage, great location

We are a French couple and have been living there for few weeks now. This is a great place, with really everything furnished to feel at home. Very cosy, ideally located 5min to both the beach and the bay, nice and comfortable furniture, and... a nice yard with fences to enjoy dinning and spending time outside. Very original cottage and quite rare in PB. Also close to restaurants, shops, and bus stop to downtown nearby.

Great location, everything you need is included!

I am a travel nurse who took an assignment in SD for the summer and was wanting to live at the beach! The location is absolutely perfect, just 4 blocks from the beach and 3 blocks from mission bay. I biked between mission beach, crown point, all of PB and north PB. Just a 15 minute drive from downtown SD, Point Loma, and La Jolla with easy access to I5. Everything that my roommate and I needed for the summer was included with the house. The house has cable was well as well working wifi. Beach towels and chairs are included, as well as a rolling cooler for the beach! The beds and pillows were the most comfortable part of the house, all of our guests complimented them. Kelly Ann was a good landlord, she quickly addressed any questions that we had and provides a list of contacts for her handyman and caretaker when she is out of town. Only note would be that the neighborhood can seem loud because we chose to sleep with our windows open; however when we closed them the noise was easily blocked out. All of the neighbors were very friendly and introduced themselves when we moved in. The house was exactly what we were looking for and was plenty of room for 2 20-something roommates who wanted to spend all of their time off at the beach. We would definitely rent the house again!

Home away from home

My husband and I stayed at Kelly Ann’s beach cottage from mid December until mid March and loved every minute of our vacation. The cottage was completely updated and immaculate. The remodeled kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, dishes and many utensils and appliances. The bathroom was newly updated and the floors and windows were all newly installed. All the rooms had remote controlled ceiling fans for warm days and a wall mounted gas furnace for cold days, but the climate during the winter was so ideal we hardly had to use either. We often used the private front yard for relaxing in the sun and the back courtyard for grilling on the gas barbecue grill. You don't often find a rental unit in this area with any yard at all. This unit has the advantage of both a single car garage and an off street parking spot. We used the garage to store our bikes which got plenty of use on the local bike paths. The location is ideal for everything we snowbirds could have hoped for. Restaurants, supermarkets, the ocean beach, Sail Bay, a branch of the San Diego public library, and plenty of shops and pubs are all no more than 4 blocks away. Pacific Beach is an ideal location to begin your San Diego sightseeing. Besides having bus stops within a few blocks, most of the outbound freeways seem clear in the mornings and clear returning in the afternoon (great for golfing in the inland valleys). KA is great to work with and always eager to please with quick responses to cottage questions or hints and suggestions for local activities.

Beaching It

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, This property is convenient to grocery shopping and all the necessities. The beach and the harbor are super close. The place came stocked with all the things you might forget. I was here for 3 months as a travel nurse along with my travel buddy. We enjoyed all the amenities and the cleanliness of the cottage. It is very secure as well. The gas grill and the awesome private back yard was a major plus. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation!!! Kelly Ann is great and she will give you a through tutorial on all the property features plus a notebook detailing everything.

Wonderful Beach Location, Impeccably Decorated- Can't Wait to Return!

We really enjoyed our vacation here. This home was beautifully decorated and very cozy. It was ideally located with Mission Bay in one direction and gorgeous Pacific Beach in the other direction. Each beach was only a five minute walk. We loved walking to the beaches, restaurants, and shops. We rented bikes almost every day and lived the California beach dream life. We discovered fun, beachfront cafes, enjoyed watching the waves, phenomenal sunsets and even saw dolphins one day! Kelly Ann, the owner was very personable and helpful. She was wonderful to deal with and truly cared about helping make our vacation the best stay possible. She gave us excellent suggestions and ideas for the many things to do in the area. The sofas and beds were extremely comfortable and everything felt new. We enjoyed cooking in the updated granite kitchen that had everything we needed. The I-5 freeway was only 5 minutes away making it easy to get to downtown and the airport, both only 20 minutes away. We would highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return in 2016!

A Really Nice Cottage Near the Beach

It felt like we were living in a Pottery Barn store – everything is supplied for entertaining a few friends or just having a great beach cottage experience by yourselves. Classy, fluffy towels in the bathroom and new luxurious bedding on the beds. Outside we enjoyed the fenced backyard with a BBQ and nice landscaping. The beaches are an easy 5-10 minute walk away and many dining and bar choices are nearby. Our favorite for lunch and dinner was Tower 23 where we could sit and watch the waves and the people on the boardwalk and if we timed it right we saw the most gorgeous sunsets imaginable. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect long-term furnished rental

This beach cottage was the perfect accommodation for my extended stay in San Diego. The unit was well appointed with anything I could possibly need during my six-month stay. It is evident that the owner has put a lot of thought and love into the cottage and wants to make sure that her guests have the best possible experience; she is always easily accessible by phone or email as well. One thing I particularly appreciated was how secure the property was; I always felt safe at home.
