Spacious Pet Friendly Home w/Game & Exercise Room

This is truly Up North. A great place to escape --- enjoy year round activities...this is the perfect place to call home during your stay Up North. Spacious home in a quiet private setting located 5 miles North of Harbor.

•All bedrooms are located upstairs.
•Two pull out sofas are in the family room, see photos
•Game Room | Arcade games, shuffleboard, foosball, board games and pool table + popcorn machine!

I will respect your space, though this is a personal home. From time to time, I myself or my staff may need to access the garage or a trailer on site. I will contact you beforehand if this arises.

If you need anything, I am available.

Quiet. Beautiful views year round. Nature/wildlife

There is 11 acres of land - what you can see in front of you and behind you in the woods to the hill (hard to see) is part of the property. There are a few trails directly behind the house.

As far as the home - the garage, office and some closets are locked off due to this being a personal home. There is still plenty of other space, as shown in the photos! :)

Beautiful country setting home in a secluded, private neighborhood off State Road, 5 miles north of Harbor Springs. The basement offers an exercise room, game room and additional family room (added in 2024). A spacious Master Bedroom offers a tub and walk-in shower. A tile floored kitchen with newer appliances and lots of extras for cooking!! 4 bedrooms, 3 ½ baths, Wet Bar, Dining Room, Sunroom and Utility Room equipped with new large capacity washer and dryer. Enjoy Northern Michigan at its best with an over sized deck and an outdoor fire pit on 11 acres. Enjoy your ATV/ORV with trails leaving from the house. Golf or ski within minutes from this location. Ski resorts or beaches are located approx 10 minutes from this location and golf less than 5 minutes. Roast smores over a bonfire or play a game of tether ball, with activities for the whole family on the property! Enjoy this peaceful setting where the birds sing beautiful songs and the turkeys and whitetail deer roam.

Sleeping arrangements:
2 King bed, 2 queen beds - all in private bedrooms, located upstairs.
2 queen pull out sofas in the family room on the main floor

***PLEASE READ - You will find a fireplace in the home upon arrival - it is cracked and not fixable at this time, unfortunately, it is off limits. Thank you for understanding.

Couple reminders:

-Property is located conveniently 5 miles north of Harbor Springs, right off the main road. Easy access to many of the areas favorite destinations.

-Events not permitted.

-Pets may be allowed under certain circumstances and pet fees will apply, please contact owner for request.

-During the winter months, please bring slippers. The tile floor tends to be cold.

-Some areas are locked off with personal items

-Indoor fireplace is currently cracked and not usable. Sorry! We plan to update in late 2025.

The home was lovely and the location was great for the beach, restaurants and family fun! The backyard was large and private for bonfires and games. I especially liked that the home had some staples and a large dining room to accommodate our large family. Great communication from our host and prompt responses with questions prior to and during our stay.

Great house for large group. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Downstairs was a big hit with daughters and friends, bonus was that we couldn’t hear them in the bedroom. Kitchen is well appointed and large enough for multiple people to help out with cooking and clean up. House is very clean and tidy. Kitchen sink had a leak, but text was answered right away and sink was fixed next day. (We were asked by host if it was an emergency and if someone was needed that night, but told her it could wait) Great communication by host. Will definitely book for next year’s ski trip!

Wonderful home for families

The home was as advertised. It was huge and beautiful! Everything was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need. The basement was super fun for kids and adults, which was nice since we had some rainy days. The yard was also huge. We saw deer and a family of turkeys right out front. Communication with the owner was great!

Friends Ski Trip

This house was a great location for our ski trip. The property is large and fairly secluded. House was plenty big enough for our group of 10 and had a well stocked kitchen. House was clean when we arrived. Overall it was a good experience.

Absolutely Wonderful!

This home was perfect. We had two families comfortably together for three days with 6 children ranging in age from 7-14 and there wasn’t a moment they weren’t entertained. Which meant the parents could actually spend quality time together! There is so much to do and so much space to spread out. Communication was excellent throughout the entire experience. Thank you!

Large Houst with Great Property

The house is large and would be great for groups. The property itself is stunning. It is private and was gorgeous in the snow. There are deer, birds and wild turkeys near the wooded area, and we really enjoyed our stay here. Communication with Crystal was also easy and prompt. I recommend this rental.

Wonderful place for families

The property was beautiful and the house had everything we needed to enjoy all the area had to offer. Easy access to HS and the tunnel of trees and a short easy drive to places further north like Sturgeon’s Bay. Plus a nature preserve a short walk away for wild blueberry picking! The house was very clean with great light and plenty of space for large groups. Each bedroom was well appointed with either a private or jack and hill bathroom giving everyone their own space. The vast property gave kids and grown-ups alike a place to wander. All in all, a great stay!

Wonderful, clean, lots of space, attention to detail

We had the most wonderful time, the house was as described and spotless clean ( one of the reasons we loved it) I have some OCD. There were condiments ( salt pepper and more) in the kitchen ( things we always forget) Thank you! Overall it exceeded our expectations. The one thing that if it matters to any future group booking would be the distance to downtown Harbor Springs (11minutes) and really no real “close by” store, but not a deal breaker for us, we just had very little time ( 2nights) and every minute counted. Great stay, great home! The game room/workout area is great for late night teens hanging out! Thank you!!! We had a fantastic time.

Exceptional Host and Home

Crystal has been an exceptional host. The home was Super clean. The blankets and the Comforters were very clean. All the silverware, plates, bowls, and cutlery are top brands. You have all the appliances in the kitchen. If you have kid's, they will love the backyard and the little play area. You have everything needed and organized before you arrive. All of the above makes this home a luxury stay and outstanding. We are glad that we picked this. If we are around Petoskey, this is the place we will book if available. After the experience of staying here, I felt like meeting the host, which was the impact the stay had on us. I hope we will be able to meet Crystal during our next rental. She deserves an in-person thank you for all the excellent work at this vacation home.

Family Vacation

The home was clean The kitchen is very well stocked and plenty of extras. My complaint/concern is that when one is paying the substantial price to rent this property, the renter should have access to adjust the Nest heating and cooling system . I asked for the code to unlock it and was not given. You must email the property manager to adjust. The master bedroom has no closet space. All of them are locked. They provide a very small armoire to hang maybe 5 shirts. Not enough for two people for a week. The bedroom off of the master also has no closet for the renter. They are locked as well. These things are crazy to me for the price to rent the property.

Quiet house

This house sits on a large lot that is nice and very quiet. We stayed here for our family vacation, 6 adults and 3 children. House had plenty of room for all of us. The two living rooms, kitchen table, and extra large dining room table was great. It was nice to be able have a large enough table inside and outside (on deck) for all of us to be able have family meals. The kitchen was good size too. The kids enjoyed the swing set/slide. Beds and bathrooms were comfortable and good size. Definitely had a nice vacation here!

Relaxing and not far from the water

Great location! Only 10 minute drive to downtown and the marina/beaches. Privacy and beautiful views of rolling hills and nature. The bedrooms are spacious, beds comfortable, and all the amenities you may need. The owner was such a pleasure to work with and was very fast with responses with any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!

Great trip to Boyne Highlands

Very nice spacious home in the hills. Pretty surroundings, wide open or trees in every direction. Ski hill was only about10 mins away, very convenient. And we had great memories at the house, some nice dinners at the dining room table. House had plenty of space for the whole family, it was great that our dog could be part of the trip! Property manager was very accommodating and responsive with any questions. Definitely would like to return!

We had a great time exploring Petosky and Harbor Springs. Highly recommended the small bar about a mile down the road as well - great pizza and awesome breakfast!

Weekend ski trip

We rented this property for a winter ski trip weekend. We had 8 adults, 3 teenagers and had ample room for sleeping. Everyone felt they had plenty of personal space, and the gathering areas were fabulous including a large kitchen with dining table and separate formal dining table. Nice large family room, and extended sitting room. While one bathroom was in the process of a remodel, the host did absolutely everything to accommodate our needs, and that bathroom will be a luxurious retreat once completed. The property was immaculate on arrival, even in winter the landscape is gorgeous, serene and private. The host responded promptly and was incredibly accommodating to all of our needs and questions. The ski resort was an easy 15 minute or so drive. This property met our needs and we will definitely book again, thank you Crystal!!!!!

You will find yourself listening to the birds chirp and the rapid beat of hummingbirds wings...it's a place where you feel at ease and at home. Roasting smores over the campfire of a starry night and watching the moon come up over the tree line are just a few things that make this home truly feel Up North.
