Beautiful house and great vibes!

The house is beautiful, super comfortable with a very cozy and peaceful ambiance. The bedrooms and bathrooms are huge and with a very cool design. Me and my family had a great time enjoying the pool and grilling on the deck. The backyard is completely fenced and our puppy had a great time running and exploring around. We can’t wait until our next chance to go back for another relaxing weekend not far from home.

Lovely home in great location

Our group of 10 was in town for a wedding, and had plenty of space. The house is lovely, large, and well-stoked. Unfortunately, the weather didn't hold up, so we weren't able to go swimming or spend much time outside, but enjoyed hanging out in the living room, grilling, and walking to town and a nearby farmstand. An excellent choice for any large families or others heading to the Hamptons.

Not as expected

Unfortunately, this home wasn't what we envisioned based on listing photos and previous reviews. The home hadn't been cleaned before our arrival (potentially over a month ago) so downstairs beds were unmade, dirty towels left out, toys all over the place, and most upsetting was a garbage can filled with trash and tons of fruit flies. There wasn't even a single roll of paper towels left out for use. At first it was challenging to get in touch with the host, who seemed not at all remorseful for the inconvenience. Although he compensated our first night and sent in a cleaner (one solo person for an entire home), it did not change the fact that we spent the rest of our stay battling a fly problem. Anytime we made dinner, opened a glass of wine, or went into the kitchen swarms flies followed us and our children around. Additionally, we felt as though the pictures did not accurately represent some areas in the home. The playroom left much to be desired, which was a letdown considering it was one of the main reasons we chose this house. Rather than the organized, bright, airy room in the photo it was dark with lightbulbs out, holes in the ceiling, mismatched broken toys all over the floor, and workout equipment thrown about. The outdoor area was basically unusable. Patio furniture and lounge chair cushions were left out and covered in moss and mold, the grass was uncut, and none of the grills were ready for use. Our families have stayed in home rentals many times before and this was our first unpleasant experience. We will not be staying in this rental home again.

Thank you Lauren. I want to apologize for your stay - this isn't how we aim to welcome our guests. You caught us during renovations, and, quite frankly, the house wasn't ready for guests when you arrived, and we had neglected to schedule a cleaning. This is the first time this has happened, and normally we have the house spotless prior to guest arrival. We did refund 1/3 of your reservation and sent maids ASAP - one who was available immediately and a crew the next day - but I completely understand this was not the weekend you were looking for.

Walking distance to village and beach

Everett’s place was great. It was clean and really well supplied with kitchen appliances and supplies. The towels and sheets were good quality and beds super comfortable Once we arrived Everett was very responsive and answered all our questions. My only suggestion would be to provide guests with a synopsis of house operations and rules and local restaurants I almost forgot to mention that the best thing about Everetts house was the location. It is just a little over a mile to East Hampton village where we went for coffee gseveral mornings. It is also 22 minutes to walke to the beach

The house was great! There was lots of space and was a great layout for entertaining/spending time in the house. The weather wasn't great the weekend we were there but there was plenty of space for hanging out inside. Also the house was in a great location. Quick drive east for Montauk, East Hampton & Amagansett were both extremely close, and a quick drive west for other towns. I would definitely stay in this house again. The host was great and was always available for any questions/concerns.

Great vacation

We stayed in the house with friends and our kids. The house is very clean and very well designed and in real life it looks even better then on the pictures. Everett was super friendly over the phone, even when the fire alarm started to sound because of our roast beef cooking. It was a bit too chilly to swim in the pool, but the heater works perfectly and next day from the arrival our kids started to have maximum fun. The ocean is about 2,5 km from the house, which makes it a perfect distance for jogging in the morning. Also, the open fireplace situated by the pool is a perfect place for evening drinks! Overall we've loved our vacation in Hamptons, and, btw, all the great restaurants and other spots of East Hampton are just 5 min drive from the house.

Exactly as Described and Perfect for What we Were Looking For

Place was exactly as described and very clean; we were pleasantly surprising with items like shampoo in bathrooms which you don't always get in house rentals. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. Pets were allowed, although we didn't bring one. Overall, it was exactly what we needed, and we would stay there again!

Everett was a great host, and very easy to get a hold of during our weekend stay. 6 people fit in the house comfortably and the kitchen was perfect for gatherings (not that we wanted to stay inside with the backyard/pool combination that was waiting for us). I'd recommend this house to anyone

Beautiful house with great pool- close to town and beaches.

My family rented this house for a 2week vacation with family and friends. The owner was very easy to work with and even put up a pool fence to keep our kids safe. We were in contact with him throughout our vacation for any little things that we needed to communicate with him and he always got right back to us. The house is in a great location to downtown East Hampton and Amaghassette. We enjoyed the beaches that were a mile away as well as relaxing at the pool. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably and a huge backyard to enjoy bbqs and relaxing in the sun. It is on a very quiet street tucked away in the woods. We had a great time!

Great Family Vacation

This house was great for our vacation with our four kids. The house is large and very comfortable, plenty of room for everyone. The location is ideal to either go back to East Hampton or two minutes to Amagansett. Everett was a pleasure to deal with and very accommodating if there were any issues. We look forward to returning next summer!

The perfect vacation home!

I rented this house with my boyfriend and 2 couples for a long weekend. It was the perfect retreat! The house is beautifully decorated... modern with a nice beachy vibe. Easy to get to the beach or stay at the house and enjoy the large swimming pool. It is perfectly situated between East Hampton and Amagansett. Our mornings consisted of having delicious coffee and donuts at Jack's in Amagansett and in the late afternoon we'd stroll around the shops in East Hampton. HIGHLY recommended! You will LOVE it here!

Charming home with great amenities and proximity to beach

I had a very relaxing visit to this property. Several of my friends had stayed there last summer and recommended it. The backyard has a great setup, and the first floor has a nice flow to it so everyone can spread out - I love the vaulted ceiling in the living/dining room space. Also it felt newly renovated, which is a plus. There is space to park multiple cars too. I would stay again

This is our family home, we rent it out occasionally to long-term tenants we're not using it. Single-families only please.

Why they chose this property

It is a beautiful home on a quiet cul de sac situated perfectly equidistant from 1mi from both East Hampton and Amagansett town. 2mi to the beach. Easily accessible and being East of town means you avoid much of the summer traffic. Possibly the best location in the hamptons.

What makes this property unique

Huge 20x40 heated pool*, modern and clean designer interior. Surfing, sailing, windsurfing, fishing, boating all within 15 minute drive. East Hampton and Amagansett town both within biking/jogging distance from the house - house is 1 mi above Montuak Highway, due north from Further Lane and Skimhampton Road.

House has 4 bikes for guest use, stainless steel outdoor grill, 2 Jacuzzis and 4 bathrooms total. Working fireplace and outdoor fire pit.

Bright, sunny and fresh modern decor throughout with lush gardens and landscaping.
