Jasper is the County seat with a few good places to eat, fuel, and a small supermarket. The Tie Hack cabin is close to the Buffalo National River, the first designated national waterway and thousands of acres of National Forest land. Hiking, canoeing, kayaking, photography, wild-life viewing and leisure activities abound. Historical sites that tell the story of early settlers to the region are within quick driving range.
