Altos De Colorado-8000 sq ft Beachfront Luxury Surfing Estate

Altos de Colorado is a brand new luxuriously appointed estate located on the sand in the guard-gated golf course community of Hacienda Iguana, just west of Tola, Nicaragua. Altos de Colorado boasts 8000 square feet of living space on over a third acre of beachfront property.

This luxury estate has 5 bedrooms (2 Master) and 5 1/2 baths and has one of the largest private pools on the beach in all of Hacienda Iguana. The house is directly in front of the world class surf break Playa Colorados, and a 5 minute sand walk south of Ponga Drops, another world-class surf break. The house comfortably sleeps 12 people in 5 bedrooms (one of which is a very private 'honeymoon' casita), each with their own beautiful custom cabinetry and granite counters with beautiful stone sinks. As stated before, two of the bedrooms are master suites... each with it's own full size bathtub, one of which is a jacuzzi tub! Both Master Suites have views of the surf while just lying in your king size bed! Each of the other bedrooms has Twin XL beds which may be pushed together to make one king size bed. These additional bedrooms have there own walk-in closets with built-ins for plenty of storage. All bedrooms are independently A/C cooled for maximum comfort and energy efficiency, and are conveniently located on the main floor for a quick exit to the surf and sand! On the second floor is a beautifully appointed large kitchen with oversized island food preparation area, a dining tables both inside and outside (on the second floor veranda) large enough for place settings for fourteen, and a very large second floor patio with a 36 inch wide built-in gas BBQ perfect for parties overlooking the surf firing off from either Colorados or Ponga Drops!

The upstairs and downstairs living rooms are equipped with large screen TV's and Blu-Ray/DVD players. There are also 40-inch WiFi Smart TV's in each of the master bedrooms with Blu-Ray DVD players available for each TV as well. Netflix can be streamed on each TV.

The third floor observation deck has unprecedented views over all of Hacienda Iguana from Colorados up to Ponga Drops and Los Perros/Rancho Santana...perfect for surf/landscape photography...or just hanging out to check the surf, watch beautiful sunsets, whatever!

Altos de Colorado also has high speed internet throughout the house, and a whole-house back-up generator and to obviate any potential power outage.

Our property manager is a home-owner in our community as well, so he and his staff will attend to your every need 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Arrangements can be made for catering and transportation/excursions in advance or on a whim. All of the comforts of home on one of most beautiful beaches in all of Nicaragua!

Altos de Colorado also offers membership access to our private golf course. This 9 hole course is quite challenging and uncrowded, offering tee times pretty much whenever you want.

Also included with your stay is full access to the exclusive Community Beach Club just a 3 minute sand walk south of the house. This Beach Club is a wonderful place to have lunch and relax with friends, or have a dunk in the pool and play volleyball, or just watch the surf fire off at Colorados!

Also within the community are many restaurants which are a great place to hang out with your friends for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and swap stories, or relax at Pili's Beach bar with wonderful food and cocktails. There are a handful of other great restaurants that are accessible by car, taxi, boat, or a nice hike to a small fishing village.
