Completely renovated villa beautifully decorated in light, soothing colors. Modern kitchen, breakfast bar, formal dining table or al fresco dining on the deck. Free internet, Roku, cable and 3 large flat screen TVs. Master bedroom with King bed (new mattress 2025), updated Master bathroom with regular/rain shower and 2 vanities. Second bedroom with 2 twin beds and a bathroom with standard tub/shower to bathe the children. USB charging ports in major rooms. Condo sleeps 4 (no sleeper sofa). Full size washer & dryer.

WE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT THE 4 PERSON MAXIMUM!!! Have a camera overlooking the front door to check arrivals as we have been misled in past. NOT A SUITABLE UNIT FOR PEOPLE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES DUE TO STAIRS.

Watch the sunrise while having coffee on the deck! Nap by one of 3 sparkling pools! Enjoy the sounds of birds chirping, gentle waves breaking, and cross breezes in the palms while reading a good book. Take a long sunset walk on 2.5 miles of private beach while ghost crabs skitter into their holes and shorebirds skim the waves or crowd the water’s edge foraging for food. Visit nesting egrets and herons with their chicks in the rookeries-with turtles and alligators sunning in the shallows below.

Join a group to watch and tag horseshoe crabs. The children can build sand castles, learn all about turtles; play in the gentle surf or any of the 3 pools. Crab or cast for shrimp at the crabbing dock, surf-fishing at the beach. Witness huge loggerhead turtles nesting or their tiny hatchlings making their way down the beach on the beginning of a long journey to the Sargasso Sea.

Guests have free access to the Beach and Racquet Club (BRC) containing: work out-gym, tennis and pickle ball courts, basketball court, baby pool, playground, badminton court. Rent bikes, kayaks etc nearby. The Turtle’s Nest store at the BRC rents bikes.

Harbor Island is a very special place. Private gated community, miles of beach, 3 gorgeous pools, so peaceful. You will want to extend your vacation indefinitely.

Visit nearby Hunting Island State Park (5 minutes) to learn more about local nature, ride the big waves, climb the lighthouse; or take a 15 minute drive into historic Beaufort for shopping, restaurants and history, a real outdoor drive-In movie theater.

Many festivals go on year-round between Bluffton, Hilton Head, Savannah, and Beaufort’s Waterfront Park. A fantastic military museum located at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Parris Island (20 minutes).
Great shopping at cute shops in Beaufort or take a day trip to Charleston 1 1/2 hr drive or 1 hour to historic Savannah, Georgia. 1 hr to Tanger Outlets, Hilton Head.

We live in Beaufort and spend much of our time at the villa. We hope you will enjoy and appreciate the villa as we do and leave it as you found it. Bring your toothbrush, your favorite swimsuit and a beach towel. Come relax and enjoy!

Excellent, cozy, little condo. Well appointed, very gracious host, and outstanding view!

Very cozy and comfortable. However, the mattresses could stand to be changed out. Otherwise I would give it a 5/5 stars.

Relaxation at the beach

The listening description was spot on. Excellent location to the beach and pools. Boardwalk to beach just outside the unit. Communication with owner was quick and appreciated. We would not hesitate to rent the unit again if we visit Harbor Island. unit again if we return to Harbor Island.

Perfect location

The property itself is in the perfect location. Right by both the beach and the pool. Forget something? You can easily run right back up to the condo. Harbor Island is a great location if you are looking for calm and remote. There are a few things nearby, but most stores/restaurants are about 20 mins away. The development is small, and nothing is taller than 3 stories. This means the beach is not too crowded! The island does not get the rough waves of most Atlantic beaches because of its angle. Great if you want to let your little kids play in a gentle surf. So many sea critters when the tide goes down: hermit crabs, sand dollars, horseshoe crabs, etc. The condo itself is well equipped and worked great for our family of 4. Just like the pictures. Will 100% stay here again.

My 7-year-old son called this place “ultra good”

This is pretty much the ideal location for a beach trip in the low country. It’s next door to a lovely pool and right next to the boardwalk that leads to the beach. There is also a rinse shower right outside the unit (and another by the pool) to get all the sand off yourselves and your beach items. We used our car to store our beach wagon and beach items at night since there isn’t any outdoor storage for the unit. Lovely views from the primary suite and living area. We went to all 3 pools and my kiddo loved them all. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything we needed, including staples that you don’t always find like paper towels, spices, and oil. Great book selection and plenty of games in the unit. My son was introduced to Captain Underpants books here and he loves them so much! We read every single one in the unit! The checkout list is simple and quick. We loved our stay! The only thing to be aware of is that the condo is two stories and there are steps to get to the front door of the unit as well (being on the second and third/top floors of the building was great and provided lovely views). This place is lovely and we enjoyed it so much. Our first time on Harbor Island was a lovely and memorable one!

Excellent- A clean, quiet , beautiful community.

We absolutely loved where we stayed, the community, the clean beaches, and the very nice people in the community. Be sure to follow the Owners directions verbatim as she gives clear and easy to follow directions. Beaches are very clean with an excessive tide change. A Good Samaritan saved our beach items after we returned from our Long Beach walk only to find that they moved our items up away from the rising tide. Lots of sea life and reptiles in the area, including dolphins. Be sure to visit the park just down the road from the complex. We loved everything about this place and will return I am sure.

Perfection

A beautiful location on the beach and close to state park, Savannah Georgia, Beaufort SC, and Charleston SC. We (my husband, myself and 17 year old daughter) enjoyed several days relaxing at this home and on the beach, while taking a day trips to Charleston, Beaufort and the state park.

Another great stay

This is our second time staying at this condo. The view is amazing and the condo is comfortable and clean. This condo has a confortable bed, a well stocked kitchen, games to play on rainy days, an easy walk to the beach, close to the pool. Candace is great at communicating with you and answers questions quickly. We look forward to our next visit!

Didn't want to leave

Very peaceful and relaxing. Perfect place to leave hustle and bustle of real life behind. Beautifully decorated- very cozy and clean -pictures don't do it justice. Community was very private- we had beach and pool almost entirely to ourselves most of the week. Host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Took a couple trips to nearby Beaufort to shop and eat - very quaint little Southern town. Also spent a day in Savannah which was only an hour away. We will definitely be back.

Fully recommend!

We loved the space of the condo and it was very clean. It was perfect for myself and my husband as well as our two little ones. The view was fantastic and the convenience of the boardwalk and ocean was just what we were wanting. Idalia hit mid week and Candace and her husband were so kind and thoughtful. Their communication was wonderful and we ended up having to leave due to safety concerns. They worked with us throughout everything and made it as easy as the situation could be. We were so sad to leave early and hope to return next year.

Beach Perfection!!

This beach front villa condo really made our vacation perfect. Light seashore colors, tastefully artistic, but not excessively decorated. The kitchen offered all utensils and cook/bakeware we needed. Very clean and well-cared for. We observed the no lights shining after dark- (for the turtles) And also participated in one of the sunrise excursions with the Harbor Island Turtle program and got to witness a baby loggerhead making its first trip out to sea! I loved browsing thru the nice selection of Coastal Living and Veranda magazines while relaxing on the balcony with the amazing views of the Carolina coastal plant life, well-placed boardwalks and tbe ocean. As described, this being an end unit, the side windows brought uplifting light and gorgeous palm trees as a backdrop to the dining and living room. The pools, Turtle's Nest gift shop and lunch offerings were terrific, and the local residents were very welcoming and hospitable (which isnt always the case when you are a summer renter in other resort communities). Really grateful for the experience at this villa and community. And huge thanks to Candace: very responsive to any questions I had and lovely to correspond with.

We had a great stay. This was our first time visiting this area. The villa and facilities were great. Very clean and not overly crowded. The unit was stocked well. The stairs outside and inside did prove to be a bit challenging for my Mom to climb multiple times a day. The owner was very responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with. One area that could be improved upon is the balcony. The current table/umbrella setup offered little to no shade which made it challenging to enjoy. All in all a positive experience for our family.

This property is as amazing as all the reviews say! So glad we went off our Gulf Coast usual and tried Harbor Island! The condo is one of the best we have ever stayed and Candace as our host made it even better. We had a bit of bad weather and before I could search what to do Candace had emailed me a linked list of places and even apologized for the poor weather! We will definitely stay again!

A great stay for our little ones!

The location was wonderful, making movement between beach and pool so easy with the little ones and all the gear in tow. We really appreciated all the thoughtful amenities throughout the unit. It was so clean and comfortable. The check out process was also so lovely which allowed me the time to focus on packing up.

Beautiful view of the ocean. I like that it was a private property, felt very safe. 3 pools, workout room, a little shop. We never had to leave! Stairs up to unit and stairs up to bedrooms,short walk to the ocean, so not for those that arent physically fit.

My husband and I have been coming to Harbor Island for many years and this condo is by far the nicest we have ever stayed in. The views are amazing! The pictures are true to what you get, the condo is VERY clean and comfortable. I have stayed in places where it felt like leftover furniture from grandma's house but this was nicely appointed and had nice touches throughout. The kitchen is well stocked and clean. We couldn't have been happier! We liked it so much that we booked it again for next year before we even left! Thank you Candace!

Harbor Island Relaxing Stay

Quiet, clean, well-decorated second and third floor end unit condo overlooking sand dunes and native flora and beyond to the vast waters of St. Helena Sound filled with dolphins, shore birds, pelicans and shrimp boats. Great access to boardwalk to access beach and easy walk to three pools. Ideal location for those who enjoy being around young families and for those who want to have peace and quiet in beautiful environs.

Upon retirement we moved to South Carolina and fell in love with the area. We live close to town but love having a nearby beach retreat --we feel like we are on a mini vacation when we are out here! So quiet and close to nature--we know you will fall in love with Harbor Island!

Harbor Island is in a special protected nature area called the ACE Basin. There are many species of migratory birds, loggerhead turtles and other wildlife here! We just couldn't believe that we could actually found such an incredible place. We feel very privileged to be here and be able to share it. Corner oceanfront units are a scarce commodity - only four 2 BR on the island!
