This property is a lovely mid-modern home with a very comfortable feel. From the living room, dining room and deck you can view the beautiful channel and the fascinating ships and boats passing through. Directly across the street is a shady park and the historic Coast Guard Station. Continue on to beautiful Pere Marquette beach, just a 2-minute stroll from your front door.

4 bedrooms, 6 beds, sleeps 9 with a maximum capacity of 11 with two couches that can be used to sleep on in a pinch.

Enjoyed our stay near one of the best Lake Michigan beaches. Location was excellent for heading to the beach and the Deck for dinner and live music. The house was roomy and comfortable for our group of five.

We had a fantastic time during our stay. Location was perfect! Very short walk to the beach so we didn’t have to deal with parking which was nice. We had a pleasant time sitting on the large balcony in the morning sipping our coffee and watching the frieghters pass by. Pricing was fair compared with other properties in the beachside community. Plenty of room as well. We would definitely stay again!

Prime location, comfortable stay.

This location can’t be beat! As you can see in the pictures the interior is older but it is clean, the furniture is comfortable and the 1 bedroom apartment downstairs was a great separation for our multigenerational group. Jeff is a great host and he provided all the linens, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and hand soap which was a first for any place that we have rented in the past. If we book a stay in Muskegon again, I would book this home again without hesitation.

This house is old and hardly anything has been updated. It was fairly clean and as advertised. I would stay here again but it would not be my first option.

Older home, but well maintained. Jeff, the owner, was friendly and quick to respond if we needed something. Fantastic location. Our group loved the proximity to the playground, beach, and The Deck with live music every night. The grownups enjoyed drinks on the deck above the garage and the Michigan sunsets almost every night. Plenty of space for our group of 9, plus one dog. We had a great time!

Location is great to Lake Michigan, 5 minute walk to the Channel, beach and The Deck. Backyard is great for gatherings, used the deck nightly to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

The front deck was AMAZING. Afternoon sun, view of the channels comings and goings, and sparkling Lake Michigan.Easy walk to The Deck and submarine museum. Nice playground for families across the street. We enjoyed our stay.The place was CLEAN, and even had coffee to get us started with our first pot of coffee.Jeff was nice, even stopped by during our stay to see if everything was OK. Great experience!

Wonderful place to get away

Brought the whole family to visit our daughter and her family. We really loved staying close to the beach very lovely place to stay Jeff is a great host responded very quickly when you contact him. This would be the place I would book again in the future if available.
